A period of silence.
Uneventful. Mundane. Boring.
Three months of an eerily silent peace.
Total unrest. The dissolution of order. Absolute Chaos.
All of it came to an abrupt end after a mushroom cloud towered over the city's borders. A symbolic 'conclusion' to what had transpired. Steadily and surely things calmed down. Exchanges of gunfire on the daily became a solemn memory of the past. The churning industrial complex soon began to drown everything out, absolutely deafening. Construction dominated the streets, the frontier, the skyline, everywhere imaginable. Not a single sound from the Security Council or the Collaborator's Party. Last the papers read following Siemens' assassination and the fireball in the same month..."Consul Hank Beauregard announces sweeping reforms. Chairmanship to be granted to him. Elections suspended until further notice. Security Council suspended until further notice." No other words to describe it other than a tyrannical power grab, drowned out by rumors and talk about an ordeal that transpired out of the ruins of the former United States of America.
The year came to an end bringing new beginnings. Nearly three months without incident. Promising results and the expansion of the Industrial Sector carried through. The Consul's Agenda for 2020 was announced a few days ago, a list of immediate promises were made, such as the relinquishment of the Chairmanship, the Security Council's suspension to be lifted, and most importantly the reinstatement of elections.

All applicants must have a GOAL. The goal in question reassures the CCA Lead that you have some intention of running the Security Council/Elections, as opposed to just wanting the coveted throne. The CCA Lead must OOCly verify that YOU the applicant is fit to OOCly run the faction. I've no intention of interfering with the goals submitted, however, you must show me you plan to do SOMETHING.
REMINDER. I'd recommend being 'cautious' in how your character displays their campaign. Remind yourselves that the Ministry of Civil Protection and the Combine are watching your candidate. Anything otherwise considered 'against' the Combine's basic interests ex. (calls for total democracy, abolition or reduction of re-educations) will likely be punished accordingly IC. Take note this is an OOC Application and nothing displayed here will be taken IC, other than the fact your character is 'running for office'.
GOI. Additional authority and responsibilities to appropriately affect how the city operates will be granted to the Security Council Faction once the elections conclude pending some additions to the Gears of Industry Terminal. Changes will encompass the Security Council voting on how the City Fund is distributed amongst the Faction Budgets. This will impact the amount of resources ICly available to every faction. EX: Paychecks, Supplies, etc.
I RECOMMEND ADVERTISING YOUR CHARACTER'S "ECONOMIC PLANS" YOU PLAN TO PUT TO VOTE IN THE SECURITY COUNCIL AS APART OF YOUR CAMPAIGN, ALONG WITH HOW HE OR SHE PLANS ON TACKLING I24'S EXISTING DEBT CRISIS ARC.
To avoid metagaming, DM furious01 on Discord entailing your character's goal (Purely to vet that you have plans and intentions). Do not list it in your application.
Furthermore, all applicants must be existing characters on the main server, of T3 status or higher. No authorizations will be granted under any circumstance.
