How many characters do you have?: 2 - Henrique Azeredo de Frontin, Julian Rife
What do you want authorization for?:
ㅤㅤㅤㅤMy general idea is a character whose background lies with the French Red Cross. I previously wrote a few short paragraphs of lore for Kamil when City 13 lore was being requested to add fluff and flavor. I wish to branch this out and play a humanitarian character with pre-war background in a well-known organization. This character will be a medic and crisis responder who has basic knowledge of medical aid.
1. Medical skill boost
ㅤㅤㅤㅤa. I would like as much can be given as a stimulus, the rest will be gathered in-game
ㅤㅤㅤㅤb. This character is NOT a doctor, paramedic, nor a pharmacist; rather an entry-level medic who is trained for trauma response until real EMT/Doctors can aid the person who has been injured. Their whole thing is first-aid.
2. Use of CCR model
ㅤㅤㅤㅤa. Limited to specific bodygroups (refer to image below)
ㅤㅤㅤㅤb. Purely aesthetic, no armor/script necessary
3. A starter medical care package
ㅤㅤㅤㅤa. Medical bag
ㅤㅤㅤㅤb. I do not have any other specific requests other than the basics, and would like the people deciding this application to debate on what would be fair as I understand skills+model+items is a heftier ask.

How beneficial to your own RP and the servers is your authorization?: I believe that this authorization will greatly implement a bit of flavor not only in the idea of adding another medical-based character into the fray, but also someone who doesn't want to integrate with the other districts or the combine as a whole. They're anti-conglomerate, and stand by an independent humanitarian organization which stands steadfastly against these larger clinics who are folded under the Combine, and of course the Combine as a whole who brought chaos to the planet. This can also branch into non-government research for nomad/private characters who do not work with the government or government agencies if anyone else is interested in that. All of those side things aside, I think someone who is a medic always benefits RP as saving a character keeps them in the narrative instead of letting them die and their story ending there.
Pros of your authorization:
1. Another medical character to provide aid
2. A roleplay-based concept more than anything else
3. A 'good side' of humanity
4. Potential for non-government blood drives (in exchange for cookies and juice) and other volunteer work
Cons of your authorization:
1. One mugging and it's OVER
2. It's very early occupation, so what's the purpose if the clinics and hospitals are already funded?
3. I do not have a group to assist me with anything to start, so running drives and events will be incredibly difficult to provide conducive RP in a larger format style
4. Some people, even with the new medical script, will NOT really give a single thought towards medical RP (especially illnesses, internal injuries, spores, radiation, etc.)

ㅤㅤㅤㅤJulian Rife was born in 1964 between his father Maurice Joxe, a French immigrant, and Beverly Rife, an American citizen. Julian learned English as his native language, with lessons in French on the side when there was time but his parents wanted him to grow up as an American - which is why he took his mother's name instead of his fathers, and is for most concerns a natural-born American citizen. His interest in the French side of his family grew as his age caught up with him and he devoted his time to studying what he could. Julian worked 9-5 jobs in his younger years until his mid-twenties, when he volunteered for the American Red Cross and sought schooling to expand his knowledge in emergency management and public health. Once Julian had built himself a repertoire in the A.R.C., and his French was as good as his English, he requested a referral to the French Red Cross (Croix-Rouge française) circa 1993 when he was around 29 years old.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤWhile Julian was recommended with high scores by his branch of the American Red Cross, integrating with the C.R.F. was not as easy - the French, even if they were so-called humanitarians, were not all too welcoming an American. A better descriptor for his first year was 'survival' more than anything else, though it had mostly blown over by the turn of 1994. What really cemented his place among his French comrades was his role in the 1995 France bombings between July and October; primarily gas attacks. Through the sporadic attacks between the four month timespan he was always ready to respond and assist in triage and coordinating relief through the terrorist attacks.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤBy 2001, the C.R.F. had been scattered due to the portal storms; the global disasters required their attention everywhere, and they were on call 24/7 through the first month of the storms. The influence of the Black Mesa Event across the world continued while gradually becoming less of a concern over the next months and then years until the Seven Hour War. That war is a tale that has been told plenty of times, and the Red Cross internationally was merely a side-discussion as integration began under the new regime.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤAlmost seven years have passed since the global disaster, and now Jules continues his work as a disaster coordinator through various districts of France. His mobility is limited with the synth forces and continued relocations and works around smuggling and nomadic behavior to keep his supplies moving. The only thing that has kept him afloat thus far is the assistance of other remnant Red Cross cells along with favors from people he saved during the 4-year period between the Black Mesa Incident and the invasion. He is left to his own resources as Courbevoie falls under the fold of other districts and is slowly being worked into the Combine system with the rest of City 13. Through smugglers and calling in the last favors he had from those who owed him, Jules must make due with whatever medical supplies he has left in his bag.
