Regina Kross - Legitimately some of the best RP I have ever had on this server, if not in all of my time of RP. Played by
@rae, one of the worst infiltrators, but turned one of the worst times of the server and one of the most stressful times into some of the best writing I have ever had.
Urey Whateverhislastname was - One of the most committed, dedicated, and tolerant motherfuckers I have seen in my life, played by
@Lab. He literally took weeks just to say that maybe his character shouldn't be forced into limbo, some of the highest quality writing I have seen and accurate portrayels of something most people are afraid to write, negative human trait and emotions.
Emiyo Marcum - Played by
@RedHotGinger Gave my cop one of the only arcs and plotlines to follow after the Ultris shebang, which pertained to a very interesting angle of a Civil Protection officer actually torn between their duty, and risk of what was morally correct after her efforts saved the officer from being tossed in a pit. Whether good, nor bad, it was a cosmic fear of saving somebody's life who may have not even deserved it, twisted into a paternal need to try and pay a debt.
Charlotte - Played by
@atlassu. One of the most interesting character concepts that actually involved my characters into a deep story arc of moral ambiguity and emotional questions, which is sadly sometimes an extremely rare thing to find. I've written a lot of things, not a lot bothers me, but on occasion- it was more than enough to make tears swell in my eyes from the sheer impact of the writing itself just on an interpersonal character level. Pimps don't cry, but Charlotte got me damn close.
Any fucking character that Tsoat plays. -
@tsaoT Absolute fucking masterclass in general, and sadly I did not get to write with their characters more often, but any character they made, were different and unique from each other in their own ways and completely minimized all level of character bleed, while maintaining their own arcs and styles. Insanely impressive, Eden comes to mind for a more emotional and interpersonal sense, whereas 451 was a welcome change for a seedy corporate mischevious officer who was equal parts selfish, caring, and untrustworthy.
Kay -
@BantaMan No longer plays, nor has played for a long time, but a genuinely great writer, and an amazing mod-lead who was not nearly recognized for his characters nor his time. He provided extremely emotionally impactful writing, and helped me explore avenues of characters outside of rebellion. I would not have played on this server nearly as much without Banta and his ideas, as he genuinely made it fun with how my favorite sardonic, British asshole was played. One of the best damn mercenaries I have ever seen, no matter what? You'll always be a Diamond Dog.
One-Eye -
@Jumbi-sama Was always there next to Kay, and I'm mostly mentioning you so you don't beat my ass. Having a character with 'one eye', quite literally and even playing that character with that disability for a level of RP was intruiging and going against the 'meta', while also just being amazing comedic relief, even during stressful times IC and OOC.
At the end of the day, no one person deserves best character, that's picking favorites. An RP server is a conglomerate effort of everybody involved, and everybody plays a part, no matter how big or small. The real winner? Is you, you are Big-Boss.
