"Hmph, new city, new places, same old shit."
"Eh, could be worse. Could be back in I-24 left for dead."
"Mh, I guess so. Anyway I hope our new officer's are better, let's hope they don't go rogue again."

"You and me both, pulling up the files for one of the Lieutenants now."

"Yeah...Say's she's Canadian here. Wonder what she's doing all the way out here."

"Eh, hopefully she's an alright one, hope she's not a handful like that last conscript."

"O'Riley? Hah, she's probably back out in Europe with whatever band of rebels she joined up with."

"Don't tempt fate. It's a cruel mistress."

New Transfers:

The sound of a train pulling into a station was heard, followed shortly by the screaming of it's brakes as well as the deafening bellowing of a horn. Several armed and ragged warriors step out, all of them bearing a foreign symbol.

"We're finally here. Finally."

"This place look like shithole. Did you see the outside on the way in?"

"Mhm...I did so indeed. Not as green as Industrial- Twenty Four. Anyway, we'-"

A sudden sharp whistle pieced the air, a tall female figure making her way over to the group, donning a familiar but different uniform of the Conscripted Reserve, a red beret affixed to her head.

"L'attention! All of you transfers, get on the wall! Allons y!"

The gathering of warriors obliged the officer, moving themselves to a wall, lining up as a hobbling suited figure stood next to the officer, inspecting the gathering.

"Ah... Thank you Lepell-San. These are our new...Transfers."

"Of course, Colonel. Leave them with me and they'll be familiarized."
An Abusive Relationship:

A stun stick ignited, before colliding with a Lieutenant's body, being hoisted back up into the air before colliding with her face, a final blow then delivered to her torso knocking her to the floor. Her unconscious body scraping across the pavement before being dumped in a warehouse.

<:: You filthy Western Gaijin, you had chance to tell me name! Now look what you make me do!::>

The Korean unit threw her to the floor, dragging the beaten Lieutenant by her hair across the warehouse for, making her suddenly jolt and scream out, in an attempt to stop the unit.

"Gah- Fuck! Let me go! What the fuck is your problem?! I don't know any damn names!"

<:: You do know! You don't lie to me! Tell me now or it'll get much worse!::>

The unit suddenly drove a knee into the woman's chest, forcing her to gasp as she was slammed down into what could only be described as medieval stockades, forcing her neck and wrists into position, closing it up with a large padlock. Their stunstick re-igniting again.

<:: Look at you. An officer of the famed 'Daisy's Lightning'. Pathetic, forced into restraints like some lowly anti-citzen. Revolting.::>

The unit began laughing to himself, admiring the struggle of the officer against her restraints, her breath having became wheezy, spitting blood against the warehouse floor as she struggled.

"Kff- Take...Take a picture...It'll Kff- Last longer...Jackass..."

The door suddenly opened behind the unit, two more units stepping in. One female, One male, they stepped over to the scene, glancing between the Korean unit filled with rage alongside the beaten and restrained Lieutenant. A vocoded sigh and French accent emanated from the male.

<::...Thirty-Six. That's enough. Let the Lieutenant go.::>
A Party To Remember:

A crowded collaborators party, laughter, bickering, arguments and alcohol were the main topics of the evening. Dime-a-dozen politicians conversing in amongst one another whilst a small cohort of units maintained their steely gaze.

"So, as you saying. You worked within the medical union right? What made you diversify into my line of work?"

"Ah you see Miss Lepelletier, the Guardians were in need of officers, I merel-"

The green banded German's reply was cut short, a series of loud vocoded yells in a foreign tongue ringing from the dance floor in the middle of the crowded night club rang out, drawing the attendees attention down to a lone unit and a leather-jacketed denizen of the city.

"Any idea what he's saying? I can't understand him."

"Neither, I'm afraid. Korea-"

"<:: He's talking about you, especially that incident in the warehouse.::>"

A trench-coated unit had stepped forward leaning against the railing whilst glaring down at the Korean enforcer on the dance floor, a masked accomplice stood behind him awaiting instructions.

"<:: Would you like us to deal with it? We'll ensure he doesn't bring it up again.::>"

"Please do, I'd rather the entire city not knowing."
The two units stepped away without saying another word, pushing through the attendees and down onto the dance floor, making their way over to the unit before pinning him up against the wall.

"<:: What the?! What the hell is this! Let me go or it'll be your heads that roll!::>"

"<:: Should've left it alone. Should've kept that damned mouth shut instead of blabbering away like some fool.::>"

The trench-coated unit didn't say another word, swiftly reaching down for side arm, producing a clearly non-standard M1911 before pressing it to the chest of the offending unit, glaring at them as he pulled the trigger, sending a single round into the units vest before releasing him, walking away as if nothing had happened.
A cohort of units assemble around a heavily armored figure, their uniforms not of the standard cut. Blue armbands, blue epaulettes with two donning berets. Opposite them three so-called 'Super-Soldiers', their weapons raised as they assemble around a lone Frenchman.

"I just have to give the order! Armed conscripts from Yamato, to end this little revolt of yours!"

The cohort remains rigid, not moving or caring in the Frenchman's tirade, their hands on their sidearms at all times.

"<:: You do not have the authority to talk to us like this, gaijin. You should know your place, lest you forget it. ::>"

One of the figures stirs, talking to themselves as their attention remains on the troops before them.

"<:: Perhaps 'revolt' isn't the keyword you wish to use here, Chairman. ::>"

The delegates freeze, suddenly lowering their weapons as they step to the side, assembling behind the masked figures.

"Hmph... Perhaps I was too overly enthusiastic..."

CHARACTER RELATIONS:

Jones Duffles: Gone.

The leader of the rag-tag group of misfits, degenerates and imbeciles imported fresh from I-24. Not one minute here and you're already requesting private audiences with the Colonel. Hmph, we'll see where you end up.

Didn't realize you were a scientist actually. Only found out when I radioed in about that weird heart thing. Still, you must enjoy it, researching all sorts of gizmos and weird things. Sorry 'bout the labs, your short ass of a boss didn't seem to like me frying everything when I walked in.

You're gone, not surprising.

Kurtis Hamilton:
KIA.

The second in command of the misfits and degenerates. You arrived here half-assed and unprepared. Your uniform, stolen, your armband in the wind alongside half of your equipment. Still, you're somewhat okay.

Been here a week, and you're already a Captain. Bah, guess you do deserve it. Don't fuck up, spotlight's on you now.

Hmph, you're dead. Gunned down by rebels and burnt to a crisp by Mac. It wasn't supposed to end like this, you know that right?

Michael Yards:
Confused, and Thankful.

One of the many refugees flooding into our great city from that shithole I-24. You're hm... You're just okay. Still, I should thank you for assisting in pulling those bullets out of me alongside giving me the news on why you're suddenly here. Keep an eye on that Senior Doctor. I think there's something there.

Mh.. You're interesting, seem to have gone through a lot as well. Detailing the stories of those masked brutes they called protectors back in that shithole I-24. You're rather...Head-Strong we'll say. Claiming you've stepped forward several times to help out a friend of yours.

Don't you continue to surprise me. You had the nerve to break Kurt's nose right in the middle of the lobby of the clinic. Not only that, I did see you're recommended for ascension... Who knows? Maybe you'll finally get into the party and have the delight of dealing with politics.

Michael... To say your bold is an understatement, to say your emotional? Is dead on. I know how you feel in regards to Emiyo and I won't let harm come to her, she'll come back alive. I promise.

Michael...Oh Michael... Just what happened to you? Strewn on that bed in the clinic beaten to a near pulp, just what are you getting into? Drugs? Just...Michael don't get yourself hurt any further.

I owe you my life Mike, hell I think you managing to tell them what you knew is probably one of the reasons why I'm here and not back at YAMATO. I'll repay you, somehow.

Michael.... I- I don't know how to put it, because I've not felt like this ever. You've always been there for me, a shoulder to lean on and to relax with. I doubt we'll see each other again for a long time, nor if we will ever meet again. If we do however? Then I'll tell you what's going on.

Emiyo Marcum:
I Cannot Make It Up To you.

A collaborator from I-24, seemingly having returned home. Even if this isn't your real home. You're a rather snarky one, always have to have the last word in. Hm, I can respect that. Hopefully you stick around for a while, I think we'd make quite good friends.

Mh.. Maybe I was wrong. Dunno what's bothering you but, if ya don't wanna tell me. I won't force it. Still, I'll keep my eye on you.

Well... You've been assigned to us now given what happened. When I heard those charges pushed against you, I couldn't believe half of them, I mean. You? Gay? What a load of nonsense, lies pushed against you by the party to paint a bad image. I've got my eye on you, you have my word that not a hair on your head will be touched whilst you're here.

Emiyo.. You're a strong one, you know that right? You've been through it all and it's showing. You look out for your friends and worry about them, which I can respect. But...Hm. There's something there that I can't put my finger on. You've got two weeks to go and I ensure that you're gonna make it back safe and sound. You have my word.

I don't think you learnt a single thing. Even now you still feel as if you're some holier than thou figure, always having to have the last word on anything and everything revolved around you. You're honestly pathetic in your own strange and sad way. Perhaps Kaz was right, perhaps you need another stint longer than two weeks.

Emiyo.. I, I am so sorry. I- I feel awful for what I've done to you recently. No matter how hard I try to make up for it, or apologize, I know it won't matter. You'll never look at me the same way again, like the person I was back in City-8, and I cannot blame you for it. I hope you fare well, you deserve it.

'Thirty-Six':
Good Fucking Riddance

Bah, one of the several masked cohorts trampling around our great city. I dunno if you've ever heard of sarcasm or humor before, considering you just jumped to the conclusion of me being in some sort of plot and attempting to beat me senseless.

You're starting to get under my skin... Who the fuck do you think you are you perverted fucking degenerate? The fact that you're still breathing is a testament to the corruption of the Civil Protection here. Outlands Duty...What a fucking joke.

I don't think you know when to quit. Bragging about what you did, screaming out about the ordeal, only for you to get shot in the chest right in front of half the city. Keep it up this way and I won't be surprised if you find yourself back on outland duty.

Good riddance, heard you went rogue and got shot. Honestly a light punishment considering what you did to Ames.

That Fucking Vort:
An Annoyance

Thanks for, you know. Knocking me down and frying me like a damn egg. Go back to whatever hole you're hiding in or else Daisy will make a damned mess of your extra-terrestrial hide.

Uwe Schulz: Likeable

One of the new transfers for the MoC, rather short as well. Then again, so are half of the refugees. What were they feeding you, half rations? Eh. You're still an alright guy though, caught me up to speed on why you're all suddenly here, 'longside giving me some background information and stories about some of the people. You're not bad, just watch your head in the future.

'Oh-Two':
Likable

One of the several transfers from I-24, blackmarked as well. Twice. Must be quite a colorful figure to earn those, eh. Not my place to ask. Regardless, you're probably one of the only few here who I can fully engage with in French. Still, you're rather polite enough not to mention you told me about your transfer and previous line of work.... Might be wise keeping a lid on it in front of some of the Penals, don't think they're too happy about what your old band did.

'Oh-Four':
Likable

'Oh-Two's' counterpart. Always seen together like partners in crime. Still, I do suppose I owe you for what you've done, tipping me off about that Korean asshat alongside springing me out of those restraints. I owe you both a drink, despite you declining it. Who knows, maybe you'll come on up to the gate and hang out more with us, goodness knows the price of ammo is extortionate.

Well, seeing you here was certainly a surprise. Then again, I suppose I owe you my life for managing to get me out of that cell, what given your subordinates seemed determined to shoot me. Guess whenever the bar gets back together, I'll buy you that drink I owe ya.

'Ninety-Eight': Bearable

A loud and brash transfer. Stomping around alongside the aforementioned pair armed to the teeth and carrying a sense of duty, remind me of myself in some ways just...Less explosive. I just hope you heed the warning the other two gave you. Then again, I think it'd be more amusing for you to deal with some of those who cross you.

Hah. You really are an unpredictable person, you walk up to me in that Collaborator's party and ask me if you wanted 'Thirty-Six' handling. I didn't expect you to pull out my gun and shoot him right in the middle of the dance floor. He had it coming anyway.

Einstein: Bearable

You're a vort. That's it. Okay fine, I'll bite. You're an alright fella, run a café out by the plaza that leads to the nexus, seem to be doing quite well for yourself though. Still, you're a blue band and you get to go to engage in politics. Literally not my cup of tea so, have fun with meetings with stuffy and ego-filled collaborators in a room with stale air.

Hm.. You continue to impress me, you know that right? Running for Chairperson of the party? A lofty goal. Good luck to you, I have a feeling that other people running will try and cut you out, legally and...Not so legally.

Ted Kowacks: Likable

If there was a word in the dictionary to describe you. It'd be eccentric. I dunno if you're either buzzed off of caffeine all the time or if you're just that hyped up. Still, you're a doctor, saved my life on the table before alongside that reporter so, can't be that bad at your job. Still, I do think you should dial it back a tad, just not a lot.

Ashley Valera: Observant

I genuinely think, all that time in the mountains plus the drugs I saw you flying on in the party has rewired your brain. You mistake kindness for aggression when I tried to calm you down as well as proceeding to insult me in front of my superiors. You should watch your mouth, before you shout at the wrong person.

Mh.. Perhaps I was wrong about you, Genevan. Whilst as far as I'm concerned the bickering between City-13 and City-24 landed us all here, perhaps I was wrong. Let's just hope you don't end up like Bosch.

'Joe': Disappointed

Oh Joe... You were well, an interesting character. Whilst I understand your reservations, you did know what you signed on for when you joined the reserve. I am sorry about the treatment you got, completely and utterly undeserved. I hope you continue on in civvie life well and don't make any stupid ideas.

Jean Villeroy-Bosch:
Rest in Peace.

You're certainly an interesting figure, former Republican Guard who is fanatically loyal To Arceneaux, not two-three weeks and you're Ensign-Major. Whilst you put the effort in with your duties, some of your methods are... 'Colorful' to say the least. Just be careful with that tarte in the field, some rebel will probably see it before you see them.

When you arrived here, I was cautious. I thought you were just another flamboyant and overbearing Guardsman from City-13. How wrong I was,

Mac Heystek:
Rest In Peace.

An African conscript, Rhodesian nonetheless. Came here with one of the transferees and you've proven yourself to be an annoyance to the COs, failing to abide by simple rules, forgetting the RoE alongside a lot of other things. Eh, whatever. Let's just hope your recklessness doesn't get you shot.

I heard about your passing, and I'm sorry for how you went out. Perhaps if you opened up to us, we'd have been able to help. Even though we didn't see eye to eye, rest in peace.

'Kaz':
Respectable

A veteran from the Frontier. You survived that hellscape and continue to serve, lesser men would've probably have gave up and ran off in the midst of chaos. But you, you're different. Fiercely loyal and just like Bosch, dedicated. Shame you don't enter the city much, you really could use the R&R.

Christopher Reynolds:
Likable

One of the very few Medics under my command, a damned good one at that as well. You've bailed out a good portion of the Reserve from biting the bullet many times, keep up the good work. I think you're gonna go far.

Kaito Ikari: Likable

Another one of the dime a dozen reservists, this time more...Eccentric. You're a rather interesting character, honor bound almost, wanting to form some new unit with you in charge. Hm...Let's see how that goes.

Julia Jazmin: Likable

Ya know, you were the last person I expected to enlist. I mean, former CCA? CMRU Director at that? I mean, I didn't think you'd want to come and fight down in the dirt with us but, who knows. You are a lively person to hang out with though, good friend of 98 as well so there's that, history there? Eh...I won't pry. Still, hopefully you stick around for a fair while, hate to see you get cut down.

Kyle Branch:
Irritating

If it isn't Branch. I dunno if you've got a branch lodged up your ass like your name implies, or if it's something genetic that makes you an annoyance. Then again, you were from the Guardians so that might explain it You'll do well to check that attitude of yours, after all. We didn't throw those collars away, if you catch my drift. Heh.

Eleanor Marchand:
I Owe You More Than An Apology.

One of Emiyo's and Michael's friends. Despite not showing much emotion, you are cool to hang with. Specially when we gave Michael that haircut, god. He genuinely thought we were going to kill him. We will have to play truth or dare though, I can't imagine what your dares are like though I am curious to find out what they are, against my better judgement.

You're inseparable, some sort of sisterhood you've developed since your arrival in City-8. Well, I just hope you manage to keep her on a close watch, her mouth will get her into trouble if she doesn't learn how to wind it in.

Eleanor, you're the exact same. I will not be able to make it up to you no matter how hard I try, I've been an awful person to you and Emiyo and it'll haunt me for the rest of my days. Please, keep Emiyo and Michael safe if I ever see you again I'll figure out a way to make it up.

Juniper Stenhouse:
Gone.

I dunno what to make of you, you arrived here with all of the transferees as just a newspaper writer, now you're Secretary-General of the Party. And your first order? Cut the funding to the CMRU, have Marcum conscripted and sent to the front alongside boosting our funding to make us your own private army. Whilst I cannot complain your funding has been beneficial to us, I don't know your game. Still, I intend to find out. Collaborator like you has to have several skeletons in your closet.

You're gone too, probably still sitting comfortably in City-8. I had a feeling you'd be much better suited there anyway, besides you hardly seemed like the person to rough it.

Colonel Jiro:
Thankful

I had hoped to see you again, what after your transfer to YAMATO but, not under these current circumstances as you said. Still, I owe you for covering my ass what with the French agents coming all this way to talk to me. We might see each other again... Hopefully over better circumstances.

Sheng Jianhong:
A fucking Rat-Faced Bastard who got what he deserved.

You fucking rat bastard, you had me on your schemes the moment you got here. And your end? You deserved it, your innards spilled over that backroom with Laine, then again. That was too easy for you. If I had my way you'd have pleaded and begged for it to be over. May your 'Triad' collapse in your absence.

Pourrissez en enfer, putain de traître

Noah Majors: They'll find you Dead one day.

You'll be the exact fucking same, if it's not your heart that gives out. You'll be shot, not by the MCP or internally, the Anti-Citizens will have you and string you by your innards. And all the whilst you'll plead and beg for mercy, just like I did. And the funny part? They won't afford you it.

Ils vous suspendront aux réverbères et vous applaudiront pendant que vous balancerez.

TRANSHUMANO: FINALLY. REUNITED, REUNITED AT LONG LAST.
