1. Bug: CID is broken: Can't be hired, use shop keys, and use my permits
2. Description: I was hired for a shop, and my boss (STEAM_0:0:51821263) attempted to sign my CID on the Terminal System, however, it didn't work properly. The process resulted in a sound similar to ripping paper (like "Tschz") and didn't grant me access to the keys or sign me into the system. I tried asking assistance from a DoB member, but even they were unable to assign me. We had to call a staff member for help. The staff member manually created a key and assigned it to the shop, but it didn't function correctly. Additionally, the DoB member provided me with permits that also failed to work when I attempted to purchase something. Eventually, a staff member manually opened the shop for me. The POS system allowed me to get paid, but I couldn't buy anything from the Bartering section. We tried calling Civil Protection, and one of them took the staff-created key and attempted to assign me to the Store, however, the keys didn't appear in the Dispenser. Another Civil Protection officer arrived and made another attempt, which revealed multiple other errors related to my CID or the Shop, that can be seen in the images bellow.
3. Errors/time: Key: Despite being assigned to my CID, when I tried to open the doors with the swep, nothing happened, and when I tried it through the inventory, it said something kinda like "You don't own this housing", Bartering: When I try to buy something, a message pops saying "Could not find you ID card!"

I’ll add two cents to the bug since I have pretty good experience with it.

Various staff members tried to find the solution for that several times over a span of months. It is happening once per blue moon and only re-making the character and getting a full refund allows to be assigned to the shop system at the current stage. No fix that would involve typing in commands, modifying character data worked. Solely re-doing character.

it was clearly visible that the characters made pre Terminal 6 had this bug very often, as this didn’t allowed to assign permits, use them etc.
The new characters on v3 map never really had any problems with that. Only older characters.

I think this character is kinda old too, let's see what staff will say, might be the easiest/only solution.

I'm the DOB Member in reference, so I can try to provide context as needed.

Now I wanted to try to add him once again onto the Terminal it says "CID doesn't exist ^" I walked towards the RDC and asked if it's possible to see if he is in the datafile. they also say that "CID doesn't exist".. we will try once again if he is online to see if it works or not

It worked (because a staff member gave me a new CID before), I can now use my permits and keys, but I'm not sure if other problems will appear

This tends to happen when the code can't find your CID. Its been a bug forever, and its probably something to do with core helix or even the old NS code at the core of it. Basically, the code can't find the item for your CID, so it just silently returns. Unsure specifically what causes this. Usually giving someone a new CID item fixes it, and if not, then full killing the char can fix that sometimes too because the inventory gets reloaded.
