Why should you be accepted?
Meanwhile, I know I am not an active player at the moment however, it was due to me not playing any gmod or any RP for 4-5 years, as I was a very active player in nebulous.cloud a previous hl2rp as my gmod playtime on Steam can prove it to you. I started playing hl2rp during CW times and I always loved playing as a civil protection unit, hence my steam and forum name. My RP experience was mostly CP and CAB during my time in nebulous where I also did some staff work and organised some small/medium-scale events.
Since a few weeks, I have been craving to rp to blow off some steam and I want to return with the faction I love the most so I wish to make a return and start roleplaying again, I have pretty deep knowledge on how to rp as a cp unit and in hl2rp in general so I know the musts and nots when it comes to roleplay, so I am sure I can adapt to the system you guys have here so I hope that you can grant me this wl so that I can start having fun in the RP world that I hold dearly.
Previous experience as CP
The CP whitelist was the first whitelist I received when I was playing HL2RP on clockwork nebulous.cloud, and even here, I believe it was around 2020. Although I don't remember the exact date, I think it's been 8-9 years. Time really flies by. I managed to reach up to rank leader position during those times and was offered faction lead position but I had to decline as I was pretty busy with real life work so I didnt have the time to spare managing a massive faction.

What kind of a char you wish to portrait?
Most of the time, I don't have an in-depth plan for my characters that I wanna play. I usually have a bare bone backstory to have it as a conversation piece, and then I like to develop the character as they move on with their encounters and stuff that they are exposed to
So for this character, I intent of him being one of the combine grown children where they mostly brain washed him with loyalist propaganda and enlisted him right into the force and thus, he will not have any idea how the real world works, how to make real encounters or how to bond with his peers in depth, these will be his struggles to overcome. He will only know the basics of the force but again, he will most likely struggle with most of the procedures, verdicts and complex commands.
Scenarios
You come across an angry citizen who is bad mouthing the combine meanwhile you are standing on post alone near one of the checkpoints, what would you do?
My first instinct would be to radio the situation in and most likely call for additional units to my location as this could be bait set out for my doom, he may have friends waiting for me to detain the individual or have my attention shifted away so that they can find a weak spot and attack me, so I’d call for back up to my location as I advise the citizen not to speak like that as it may cause him trouble, I’d start this warning conversation so that he is kept busy and does not try anything else. Once my back up arrives, I’d update my peer officers regarding the situation at hand so that we can solve this issue properly be it through fines and documentation or if it escalated further, through re-education to ensure stability within the region.
While you are patrolling with a senior officer, you have encountered 2 citizens in an alley. They seem to be fighting with one of them having a knife and the other holding a broken bottle, What would you do?
Upon coming in visual with the situation, with my partner my first instinct would be to pull out my firearm as the armed individuals may harm us too if they shift their attention and agro back to us, as I do that, I’d allow my senior to bark down orders to lay down the weapons and drop down on the ground, if he doesn’t, simply I’d do so. If we are able to have them do as ordered, great, I’d arrest them and move on with proper documentation and punishment, however if they refuse to do so and keep on fighting among each other, one of us should remain holding their firearm and other should aproach with their stunbaton to break up the fight in which case the firearm holding officer should be vigilant to open warning or lethal fire if the aggression reaches to the approaching officer in order to keep him safe. During this encounter, my senior or I should report the situation through the radio and call for backup if the situation goes out of hand and escalates further.
You are patrolling alone during the night shift. You come across an open shop, when you have a peek inside, it is being robbed by an armed person. What would you do?
Once I notice the firearm and the situation at hand, I’d report it in through my radio, call for urgent additional units to my location, and take cover outside with my firearm drawn. If the robber is still within the store until the additional units arrive, we can enter the store with our guns raised and order the robber to surrender. If he fails to do so, tries to point the gun at us or the shop owner, we will most likely gun him down, if he surrenders peacefully, great, we can arrest him and administer the proper punishment for his crime which is most likely a death sentence. If he tries to leave and escape before the additional units arrive, I’d bark down orders once he leaves the store, point my gun at him and order him to surrender, to drop his weapon and to raise his hands in order not to make a scene within the city and not to disrupt the stability index with unnecessary gun fire. If he cooperates, I can move on and arrest the person and hand him to the upcoming units, but if he tries to shoot at me or try to point or raise the gun, I’d gun him down before he can do anything so that he can not harm me. After firing my gun, I’d report this incident to dispatch and my senior peers.
There is been instability within the city and rations are closed until further notice, a citizen comes up to you and asks you why, what would you do?
I’d give a brief and professional explanation to the citizen as to why the ration intake is closed down. I’d advise him to report any and all suspicious activity that he may come across to the local civil protection units so that the situation can end as soon as possible, for us to open the ration intake back again
