hi I made this cuz the admins didnt

  1. In S2RP there's Timescale. In TBC (Turn-Based Combat), that exists too. If you join a firefight a little bit after it's started, you'll be put on a 'waitlist'. This waitlist will skip a turn to act like timescale.
  2. If you want to escape a fight, run away on each of your turns. After 3-ish turns, as long as you don't take damage/shoot someone, it will give you the option to press shift+F3. On the stress test, this was a bit of a big issue. But it shouldn't affect nearly as much on the main server. There will also probably be a counter showing how many turns are left before you can escape.
  3. Gun Skill - This is in place to represent your character's in-character skill with a firearm. It also encourages you to use the most suitable weapon. So, a player with a low gun skill may be better with a USP-Match than they would be with an MP5. Headshots are also not a thing, and are instead replaced with critical hits. Your gun skill + weapon used will dictate how likely a critical hit is.
  4. S2RP is still an option. If you want to rush around a corner and shoot a CP in the face, S2RP it. For smaller and much closer-quarters fights, S2RP works and is still an option
  5. If you shoot someone during S2RP to finish them off, you can choose not to use TBC. This is something planned to be added

k thanks for reading, ill add stuff to this when im not tired

There's something being added that'll let you avoid TBC for situations like this. it was just discussed in the testing chat. added it to the main post

For now make sure they are knocked out first (ragdolled people cannot be in firefights and thus shooting at them cannot start a fight either).

In the future, I want to add in an option you can set via your menu or a command to temporarily disable starting TBC fights. If anyone with this option enabled as well shoots at you, there will be no fight (essentially enabling S2K/S2RP). If you, with this option enabled, shoot at someone without the option enabled, they will get a pop-up asking them if they want TBC or S2K/S2RP. If they chose TBC, you get dragged into a TBC fight as both people need to consent to S2RP/S2K. If the person you shot agrees to S2K/S2RP, he will have the option enabled on him as well so you both can shoot each other for a bit without trigger a fight.

Another thing I could add is that during warmup, the initial attacker and victim can press F3. If both do this, the fight is cancelled.
