What we expect in your application:

• Proper grammar and spelling, indicating that you are competent in writing. We do not expect perfect grammar and spelling however. If your application has the uncommon typo/spelling error or an instance of slightly odd grammar, it may be looked over, or we may ask you to double check it.
• A passion for vortigaunts. We don't expect you to be "super invested" in them, but show that you care about your proposed character, and want to actually take part in vortigaunt roleplay.
• A basic understanding of written vortigaunt lore.

Application Rules and Notes:

1. Include your username as part of your application's title. Example: "Purple's Vortigaunt Application".
2. All vortigaunts will start as an enslaved biotic unless specified by the Faction Lead(s) - Part of Vortigaunt roleplay and character building is your eventual freedom after being enslaved.
3. Do not bold your answers, and do not unbold the template. This makes it easier for us to read your application.
   1. You may use colours, but keep it reserved and easy on the eyes. Colour does not raise your chance of being accepted but you can run the risk of being told to unformat your app if the colours you use are difficult to view.
4. Your background may be of any length, but you need to show a detailed backstory, understanding of vortigaunt lore, and a sense of effort.
5. We do not expect perfect grammar and spelling, but apps with a clear lack of proper grammar and spelling throughout it will be denied regardless of lore comprehension and backstory quality. Proof-read your work.
6. Please note that you must be part of the Willard Network's discord AND the Willard Networks Underground discord to be accepted. This is how we can most easily contact you and communicate with the faction as a whole.
7. If your application is denied, you may reapply after two weeks. Reposting your application before then will result in an automatic denial.
8. Do NOT plagiarize any part of your app, from other players OR a wikia. We want to hear how you answer something, not someone else. Plagiarism will result in an auto denial.
9. The use of AI in any capacity to write your application will result in an immediate denial, and subsequent blacklisting from the faction, this shows a complete lack of creativity, which is what this faction is all about.
10. Do not post applications while the applications are closed. This will result in automatic denial.

We need to get through the current batch of applications which has steadily grown through the past few weeks. When that's done we will likely re-open applications. This should give any future applicants some time to make better applications prior to applications being opened again.

I think we have thinned down the applications enough to open applications again.

I'd also like to note that there is currently no cap on the amount of Biotics that exist, but I will be checking for activity at some point in the coming months to see if people that own biotics are actually playing them. However, expect that as we start to go above Twenty Biotics we will start to only accept higher quality applications that meet all the standards required.

As its taking far too long to judge the apps and yet at the same time we seem to have a continued stream of new applicants coming in (along with having to cleanup this faction in general as there are at least a few completely inactive people) - You cannot post any further applications as of this post!

However, current applications (prior to this post) will be looked into and once we successfully done a activity check along with cleaning up the current applications we will re-open applications.

Vortigaunt Application will be reopened once the following conditions are met:

1. The Escape System has been reworked.
2. The Vortigaunt Cohesion Points has been implemented to give Biotics viable gameplay.

There has been adjustments to the application process.

1. The requirement to write a long and detailed backstory has been cut and moved to being a requirement to liberate your Vortigaunt.
2. A couple of the pointless questions have been removed
3. All approvals will lead to a trial to check your roleplay quality and activity.
4. Added a extra example to show off your ability as a Freed Vortigaunt rather then just a Enslaved one.
