It was a typical day in the urban city. Skies are grey, The walls are collapsing, and the sun isn't around.​

​

I have made my way to the Underground city, "The Shantytown," as people called it. I have met a rebel group called themself a "Duchy of Styx." ​

​

I went there because I wanted to find a way to break Map free from his shackles. ​

I don't believe a word that people say that the vortigaunts are violent, not Map, at least.​

​

My only hope to free him is the Duchy. It also came to my knowledge that some free vortigaunts roams in the sewers. I must find them right away! If they broke free so they can help my friend as well.​

After a few hours passed, I can't tell if its day or night, but I heard a loud moan of some creature down here. ​

​

I went to explore. I found some necrotic corpses, and then I came across that room. ​

This room is totattly different and has this weird feeling of tension.​

I walked in and looked around. Tentacles covered the room, and the floor felt a bit moisty. ​

​

Walking into the room gives me shivers, not to mention I saw a corpse glued to the wall. I wonder if it can be a replacement for the adhesive. After inspecting the room, I took a few samples from the plants and painted them on my notebook. ​

As I walk in the underground city, I find an Antlion. He seems not so aggressive, and it appears to be blind as a bat. The creature moves with the help of sounds echo, and with that, he knows what surrounds him.​

​

He enters a defense mechanism when there are many sounds nearby and mainly panics when he doesn't touch an earth surface. I could spend my time painting this creature, but, weirdly, it doesn't seem hostile I have conclusions that he might be the source of the infection in the building. But these are not facts and only my guesses.​

Dam, I can't even know what time is underground. This place is entirely dark and lives on fire barrels like the homeless in New York City.

Either way, I manage to become friends with the Duchy. I have let them meet with a friend of mine, and we tend to strike a dam fair deal. We bring food, and we get Credits.

Although it is not official still, they require food. I believe in their ways, and I hope Tex with help me find the vortigaunts. I must free Map from his shackles. To see Map in shackles anger me and quite terrifying me.

Even tho they killed people, they have been enslaved by a powerful being who forced it upon them. Well, I don't know the full story, but I believe that we need to work together. We are in the same boat, which matters to fight these combines.

I have met with a few high up today. That was a significant achievement for me to start making my way to the major league like I always wanted. To sit on the office chair and get credits. With that power, I can help a few people out and not make them feel like peasants. I hate to say it, but I need to lick fucking some ugly boots to make my way up there. Even tho they treat me differently from the others.

Miss Natsumi was an adorable person. I see she been workin' all her life so hard that she achieved her goal to be in the major leagues I admire that, unlike a few people that just bribed their way there with credits. I'm not some rich sugar daddy who can do it.

But I won't forget Mister Piang. He is something different. I have never seen a man who gives a guy in need of food and water. I won't forget how I was in bad shape when the ration was closed for almost a week? He just saved me from starvin'. I am grateful to him, sincerely.

I won't forget this day ever, I don't believe I made it out alive. I was fighting for life and death in this hive. What did I think for myself? I was severely injured, and I kept pushing myself to the limits. After cleaning the whole of the shantytown from the ants, We went to the circle there we fought and got ourselves trapped. We tried to escape from the windows, but we fell into the pit. The ladder was broken by an antlion guard who roamed there. Glady, we had our vortigaunt, and we could get ourselves out from there with his magic. We made ourselves an exit TO THE HIVE. I got bitten so many times slashed and almost died over there, and Gladly I got my brothers and sister that held me and carried me away. I wanted to push on.

Until I finally found my brother, who I thought was dead, I won't give up. Not in front of him. I know he went through a lot but losin' me will destroy him. Doc' was on the edge of crying and havin' a mental breakdown. I never seen her so much worried. To be honest, I thought she started to hate me. We barely even talked after what I did in the Clinic to Dragon, I believe. But I think we are all right now. She patched me up. Gladly we had some vial, and I used it. Then we finally got back. I crushed on the sofa, Some man gave me vodka, and I passed out. I was so. Exhausted and so tired. I didn't believe I could make it out. I thought it was my end. I almost said my goodbyes because my situation was so dire that the Vortigaunts couldn't help me. I had my downs but now that I am alive. I can keep my head up and trust my brothers and sister I was just worried.
