| Backstory |
The tensions in Sector 10 are rapidly rising. First, the fall of City 59. Then, the increased economic pressure between City 13 and City 24. These tensions are only multiplied by the growing anti-citizen movement found within City 24's Industrial Districts. These fears were realized when Breen's Adjunct and City 17 administrator was assassinated in City 24 while Sector 10's City Administrators were visiting the district. This event gained the immediate attention of our benefactors, who ordered the Summit to weaponize the district and drive out the malignancy. The district's industrial output must be protected at all costs. The following day, the Ministry of Civil Protection of City 24, acting on orders from the Summit, authorized the establishment of a conscripted reserve within the district. The City 24 Combine Conscripted Reserve Major General, Jost Zesiger, ordered Major Livio Spengler into the district to oversee the creation of the reserve. His orders: draft, train, and arm the district. In collaboration with local Ministry of Civil Protection officials, the nearby canals were selected as the best place to locate the garrison. Major Livio Spengler will be personally selecting prisoners to be drafted from nearby prisons to reduce logistical overhead. The garrison will be commanded by local loyalist party members with oversight from the Ministry of Civil Protection, as per the order of conscription which established this force requires. It will be protected at all times by a squad of transhuman delegates selected from the district's reserves. |
