Just the physical design of the suits alone suggests they have some relation to Civil Protections own attire, however more civilian focused they might be. I'd be surprised if the Combine would allow people to go around in these garbs without a basic means to ensure identity or to keep track of Infestation Control teams heading head-first into danger.

Please add a mechanic that allows CIvil Protection to track any time a Hamzmat Suit is worn.

This would have obvious implications for Hazmats in circulation. Obviously people will object, after all some have been hoarding them by whatever means and abusing the mistaken identity for their own benefit, but as the CWU lead I feel some things need to be restricted and us having blank identity hiding uniforms has always felt counter-intuitive.

Civil Protection and Overwatch should absolutely be able to see who is inside any given suit, or if a suit is being worn without an active CID.

Edited to better explain my point.

Would be nice if we could see the CID of the wearer in our HUD when we see them around. Maybe find a way to be able to bind a specific CID to the suit - could still do rebel-ish stuff with it if you somehow get your hands on a CWU CID f.e.

Would be great

I’d love it if CWU suits had similar biosignal stuff to CP suits so we can track them when they’re stolen.

At some point you have to start dealing with issues like this from an in-character perspective instead of introducing rules and regulations to restrict it happening from an OOC one. If the CWU is severely corrupt, the responsibility falls on the faction leaders to quash it as best as possible or introduce new IC restrictions on hiring.

Don't stymie criminal roleplay because you are upset your regulations aren't being enforced properly. This was something that happened on Terra Nova with the CRU, and we managed to crush it without punishing people or ruining criminal roleplay for rebels.

If they're removable? Sure! If not? No! Just make it harder to steal them, you've already made it require rogue authorizations to get them (which makes sense).

seems a little bit too overkill. CWU is pretty much overkill and untouchable at the moment.

You can't perpetually introduce new OOC restrictions due to ineffective enforcement of IC rules and the inability of IC leadership to stop it. Punishing players for stealing from you by blacklisting them is pretty stupid; focus on stopping it IC first, and go back to the drawing board if your faction character guidelines aren't working as intended.

The CWU thus far had been more lenient than most factions in allowing self-sabotage. Thus far not a single person has come forth to explain anything has gone missing, or why our equipment might be in circulation. Leaving me no cause or ability to be aware of why our equipment is scattered about the map.

We'll be maintaining Rogue Auths going forward. Because Pineapple's rules had good intentions but were horrendous in practice.

Find a different topic to object to this.

DENIED.

This would lock people out of ever really stealing uniforms and they already can't simply "Steal" CP uniforms so it best not to make that worse by making suits unstealable. Also the card suggestion will be looked into.
