lmao imagine trying to code that. And then we do code it and the rebecca strykers of the world find out about it.
 
one of the loading screens for the game has a riot, in which it shows civil protection on horses. horse update confirmed
 
real talk, though. they'd be a really cool thing to add to the game, considering how ICly and OOCly the current district/wherever we are in City 24 doesn't seem very vehicle-friendly. So, to replace APCs, it'd be cool if they rode horses. Though, this is impossible since it'd be hell to code.

Cool but won't work. Either it be possible or impossible to make it won't matter. City 24 is just not the map for it considering the size and how easy it is to get to one street from another.
 
Knowing how the source engine is like, the chances of having a horse as a vehicle entity will be a sight for either being completely broken, looking completely stupid if its just a skin over a jeep and has static legs or will have the bone physics of a compressed ragdoll. Either ways, it will be very messy but one can hope and dream to see this be a functional thing.
 
No? Why would the combine revert back to something half biological and more vulnerable than not garbage when they have everything else that they can use?

why can't they just use regular horses? why make the horse look stupid and waste valuable resources on augmenting it? very sinple solution; add regular horses to civil protections arsenal.

Because horses are vulnerable. In a gunfight, horses are likely to be spooked. I’m sure the augmentations remove it’s emotions or whatever like OTA
