Implemented Combine pings

If we are being realistic, the Combine would NOT care at all about some lowlife cops. They only get used and they should know this OOC'ly. Like Neonity said, no clue where this insane obsession with Combine pings is coming from, but it is insane to think that the Combine would go out of their way to make sure the Civil Protection Units are safe.

Shit, they know that they are indispensable and that they are easily replaceable...

Cut down on the pings brah

I think it makes sense for reasons others have already stated, but I also agree with Hoki that removing certain features would be beneficial for everyone.

I think it's a joke how much the suits can monitor. Could it technically be possible with an extradimensional super advanced alien species technology? Sure. But it makes for bad RP - it removes a lot of opportunities for anything interesting.

At most, it should monitor whether or not they flatline. Everything else is kind of lame in my opinion. I also think (which is what I thought this thread was originally about) that we should remove the pings (visual upload, uplink, whatever) it's super cheesy and easy and fucking dumb that we can make pings around the world within the fraction of a second. Why? How? But most importantly it just sucks. Takes away all necessities for good communication and tactics when you can just say lol on marker and it's a huge advantage over everyone else. I think many of the combine features are borderline metagame.
"Oh, I just crafted this combine door lock cracker! I hope I can use it without getting pinged" -3 seconds later...
"I'm going to completely overcharge a combine biolock with fucking vortal energies that were capable of containing G-MAN. Hopefully THIS TIME it won't ping them..." -1 second later...
"Ok... Ok... This time it must work... I will... help my friends in a sewer raid... and leave on the floor two officers to save them..." - 10 seconds later... (Every single CP gets a notification, not allowing you to /me finishing them off, or even fucking rescuing your friends, and the entire force shows up in seconds thanks to the mark that tells them not only WHERE IT IS, but it signals it on their screen. COMBINE-ESP CHEATS BABYYYY)
*You were caught*

Mhmm... Today I will knock a cop into bleedout and kidnap them.

if we are being realistic the combine doesn't care about anyone. Suffice it to say, to retain some playability that's actually fun, we alter a lot from grimdark retail. But like I already said yeah, less pings would be good. It's obscene

I agree with this suggestion. While good points have been made in regards to the CP suit's tech noticing signs of critical damage such as extreme hemorraging and whatnot, I believe it would be wise to remove that function from CP suits.

It allows rebels to perform stealthy attacks. This would undoubtedly be beneficial for the rebel RP scene (especially rogue cop scene too), allowing for more clandestine activity.

It aligns with one of TheParryGod's extremely detailed and outright incredible animations. In one of the animations, Anti-Citizens, keen-eyed viewers could notice that when the first cop is shot, his biosignal doesn't ring out -- only after they execute him.

With bleed-out godmode being active, it'd let rebels get away with kidnapping cops far too easily. Rebels could just kill a cop and drag them away without the other cops being notified, unless the cop in question spams their radio which is kind of bad faith.
I believe there cdan be a treshhold.
In lore half life any trauma to an officer is immediately pinged to dispatch, whenever you are shot you see in the corner of your screen even in Willard
WRN ::// PHYSICAL TRUMA
So if you received a lot of trauma it should send a ping to dispatch alerting them that the unit is in trouble.
Pretty much in lore any punch or hit to a unit will immedialty alert every unit nearby.
You can tell because after alyx Vance kicks the hell out of those units you hear dispatch report the units are down.

It is what it is. This dev suggest is just trying to make shot copping easier for some dumb reason. Because apparently shot copping is now the primary objective of rebels.
if you're gonna shoot Cps or capture one don't expect it to be easy, cause it most certainly will not.
Going forward with a change that will make shotcops easier will only further influence it to happen more wich is already happening nearly everyday past week.

Before 3 days ago no CP had been PK'd for over a month. Some shotcops happen and you people are crying already, it's really sad to see lmao.

Marking this as implemented as we changed some things about how biosignals work not long after this suggestion.
