So, today there has been an accumulation of XEN-related events involving what seems to be the "thing" from the movie "The Thing".

My complaint isn't with the event characters, but rather, how it was run. The admin in charge of the character, the character name being ?????? has seemingly decided to power game his character out of an unwinnable situation during the event, most likely resulting in the PK of a CP unit. (Line-9, I believe). The issue I have is how he put himself in a situation that would have resulted in his event char dying, yet, ignored all of our actions, TBC, and all that and no-clipped away to safety - soon apparently delivering a /me that he escaped into the sewers and left the sector. Even adding in a "no" before he No-Clipped. Pictured here:

To me, that just seems like the event runner didn't want his character to suddenly die thanks to putting him in, once again, an unwinnable situation - and it just felt wrong that a Unit was possibly PK'd from the whole ordeal, despite half the CPs on trying to save him in the situation. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and I find it wrong that he power gamed out of the situation.
