I couldn't find a template for forum reports, apologies if I missed it.
List of the rulebreaks:
Ordering a void of a situation by himself because it didn't suit him without being an admin. Refusing to continue the same situation after an admin arrives to the scene and specifically gives it the go, stalling further so he can instead talk to an admin that is a part of the CP faction on voice chat in a private room to get the situation voided. (Mentioned admin was not involved nor made any decisions, the player only tried.)
Ignoring several emotes to avoid getting his character mugged, stalling all the while /yelling to attract other CPs attention.
Powergaming protecting both his SMG and his pistol AND kicking not one but TWO of his attackers while literally being on the ground and being overwhelmed, roleplays disconnecting the magazine from his SMG to prevent us from using it against it all the while fighting two of us and me actively having my hands on the said SMG, refusing to roleplay us being able to take any of these items.
Logging mid-situation after a short argument with on-scene admin.
Narrative:
My character (Michael Smith) have been conspiring to kidnap one of the CPs after catching one alone. This is mainly because of the food shortages and him not being able to find a safe spot in QZ. Him and several of his friends have been walking around the streets and making false reports to attract CPs response times and study their patrol structure for over 24 hours, without a break. Today, him and his friend Jebidiah was able to notice a RL who was patrolling alone in shady places so Smith started to follow him after the two made a plan of escape and set some possible mug spots in preperation. The person in the report entered an apartment block alone as my charcater was preparing to approach him and my charcater followed him into the empty apartment. At this moment, while the CP was inside and my character was at the entrance waiting the CP to come back to the first floor, one of the CPs flagged down, just seconds before the CP walked into our trap. We attacked the CP, both of us at the same time and the reaction we received from the cp was ''No, you can't mug me, not enough CPs anymore.'' to which, I explained that the CP ratio was 4 when we started to execute this plan and without any further arguments he just said ''I am voiding this.'' and to that we had to remind him that he is NOT an admin and he does not have the power to void a situation whenever it doesn't suit him, instead I did the right thing by contacting an actual admin, who came to the scene and said we may continue mugging. The person was agitated towards, he tried to overrule the situation with a ''I will get on VC with Gr4as for this and get it voided.'' all the while other CPs were gathering up. Eventually, he was convinced to rp this situation and react.
His reaction was basically him kicking my crime partner down the stairs, and I mean, literally launch him down with a single kick, and with his words: ''2-3 /mes away distance'' and fight me 1v1, I told him that he can not determine how far my friend would be launched of his kick. We continued our plan, which was for me to fight for his SMG and my friend to fight for his Pistol, because he has two hands, he can't protect all. But the CP instead proceeded to roleplay kicking me and my partner away AND protecting both his SMG and pistol from being seized from him, all the while being ambushed, on the ground and being overwhelmed. I don't really think I need to make a whole explanation on how stupid this is and how much of a powergame move that was.
Eventually, several other CPs arrived to the apartment with him constantly /yelling to attract the citizens and CPs attention as a way out of this situation. He completely disregarded fearRP and continuously screamed ''Agh!'' and ''Help!'' despite my character clearly threatening him with ''If you yell, we will kill you. If you cooperate, we will let you live.''. Eventually, he refused to react to our attempts to reach for his pistol and SMG, said that we would NOT be able to grab any of this because apparently he is holding onto his SMG for his dear life and he was WIGGLING on the ground so my friend somehow wouldnt be able to reach for his holster? I just think this is very stupid. I ended up just giving up on his argument and decided to make a forum report. He also logged after this disagreement about his guns being taken. He kept saying that we were 'PROBABLY throwaway characters and he didn't want to roleplay dying to some throwaway characters' which is an absolutely invalid argument and that's not because my character is not a throaway, but because he is absolutely in no position to decide who is a throwaway and who is not. I think refusing to roleplay something and choosing to powergame because ''they're probably throwaway'' is against the rules and a poor excuse to justify a play to win mentality. This is despite the fact that my character clearly gave him the option to cooperate and survive.
What am I looking to achieve out of this:
As for the situation itself. I think the person powergamed to protect his items. I chose to not get this voided by an admin so I can bring it up to the forums. What I think would be fair is for my character to get unCKed and the mug should be considered succesful or somehow re-rped even though it would not meet the same circumstances again, but this is just Beta and I don't really care about it too much since everything will be wiped anyway. I just wanted to add a small flavor of a resistance contact to the Beta with this.
As for the player, I know CP faction is currently in a good standing with the community and such a play to win mentality surprised me greatly, especially coming from a supervisor of this faction. I would humbly request this person's supervisor position in this faction to be reconsidered, or CP faction to educate the person to learn to play with a better player mentality. Along with any administrative action a player would receive for breaking the powergame rule AND combatlogging. I don't think a CP member would be exempt from any administrative punishments when breaking powergame and combatlogging rules.
