It'd be nice if instead of having to get someone to give you their CID, and then you go to a computer and add them, if instead computers could be set to require a password and open to anybody with the password. It'd not only open up the opportunity for more IC info leaks but it'd give computers a lot more usability. They could be used to post multiple notices for everybody to view with a password pinned nearby, for example.

yes pls and also for the groupchats if possible. it's ass that it's mechanically impossible to read without being added to the group. this wouldn't be a problem if you could be in multiple groups at once or the huge metagame risk of showing all of your bank details when you enter a group.

I think access cards are cool and still have their use. But perhaps a lower security grade just locked by a password would be good. And if computers finally become prevalent in use, you could work on some cards able to be produced fake or some that has a virus on it etc. I'll always support more computer use - less ooc, more ic pls

Good for rebels too as if someone raids your epic metabase and reads your computer they won’t get your CID
