CPs and Waltmart

Honestly, I don't know if there is a format but today I logged on to my store locks being changed and getting dragged out to get questioned. I answered all their questions to my IC knowledge and got charged 99 and lost 7 social credits. I think the charge makes no sense, to be frank but, also they trashed my store and just beat the shit out of all my employees for no reason. I get they may be bored but, why do they pick on businesses they can rarely active I try to do something good by keeping it open and hiring a shit ton of people to have like a 24/7 open but, it's just weird the whole thing. I get if there is something IC I just don't know but if anyone could get tell me that there is a reason and explain it that would be great if not I just want the whole thing to be fixed I don't know how it's just odd.

To add some context, I have been getting targeted all week with a search every 30 minutes or at least 1 per hour. I never see any other store get this much attention of cps.

I think shops should have the same protection as player containers, it seems strange that cops can just walk into any store and demand to inspect the containers. The procedure to investigate a business should be a lot more official/formalized or at least require RL authorization. Even in DarkRP you need more of a reason to raid someones base as a cop and that's saying a lot.
From an IC perspective though, your business has been involved in some incredibly shady stuff. I found a makeshift radio literally just sitting on a counter inside, you employ Underclass citizens and the shop itself borders Indigent so IMO the suspicion is warranted.

I can attest to this, as an employee of Waltmart, Civil Protection constantly inspect Waltmart literally every 30 minutes. They constantly come in and try to find any small thingy thing. Once I was literally just talking a customer and they pulled all the employees into the back, re-educated us and then questioned us. I guess IC is IC, but sometimes it does get annoying.

Don't want to be rude or anything, I'm just speaking from past experiences. But generally speaking, trashing someone's store and then targeting them for a prolonged period of time is a poor judgment of RP and not a fun experience for anybody alike. Sure, I get it IC is IC and Officers can do whatever they want. But it doesn't mean you should. Just looks messy from an outside view.

It honestly doesn't matter though the kind of shit going on with cp's and waltmart is fuckin horrid, like the constant abuse of employees and everything just makes people want to quit playing in general. its horrid. I've actually seen this and it gets stupid, it looks like cp's are deliberately targeting waltmart, and that isn't fair at all just because a store has a door bordering indigent. Like, i get the whole class thing now, but come on. Fucking people over just because they have social credits under 100 is a little bit much especially on an ooc standpoint, it demotivates players when they're constantly bullied and fucked over with little to no progress to be had. Regardless i think they should either let up a bit, like i know we roleplay in an opressive society, but chill oocly a bit, and dont just go in and randomly beat people because the store is right next to indigent, all it does is drive people away from actually roleplaying in the city. The server suffered HARD with that in the last map, and its going to be the case again. People are gonna stop playing in the city and just sit in indigent again and turn the server into rebel vs combine once again.

Exactly, it's getting hard to play or even run the store, I know this is an IC issue as others have stated and I have stated even but, whenever you apply to become a CP there is a part where you have to agree, even though your playing an antagonistic character, you still have to make the server fun, it's no fun whenever you try to do something and then 5 cops show up to your store for the third time demanding an inspection. And then they punish you for finding something that's not even yours.

Do you not read? Its literally become an OOC issue with players actually leaving over it because its demoralizing. I feel like half this server's playerbase just refuses to realize that there's just some things you cant fix icly. There's a distinct issue of CP's forging charges lately. Prime example. Me getting double charged for the same thing just to have extra points taken away cause i had reached my limit for the day. Thats not an IC issue. Thats straight up a rule break.

(I cant actually prove it either because they used the excuse of me oocly pushing someone cause i got stuck in the mob near the open grate. As an IC reasoning. Even though i repeatedly said "I got stuck."

While I'm not fully sure of what's going on with your interactions with Civil Protection. I know that we have searched you quite a lot. -- I was not aware that you have been searched at such a large quantity. I will attempt to tell others to dial it back. But with your store being so close to the slums it tends to be a hot spot.

Waltmart is a great Roleplay Zone. It's a place where both sides of the server clash. Loyalist and Anti-Loyalist. I truly enjoy each interaction I have with your character and the staff of Waltmart. I hope this doesn't discourage you guys to stop doing what you are doing.
