So basically i suggest that computers that are crafted by citizens do not require a CID to log onto them, as it is pretty stupid that if a rebel group makes a computer to keep notes, or to communicate between them, that they all have to use their CID's (First of all, becouse the machine wasn't Union-made, therfore it would be almost impossible to check if that CID is correct or not. Second, it's just stupid to pretend all rebels have a CID that works...)
I would like this to be another kind of computer, make the one craftable like if it was a rusty oven, just change the name and maybe the skin (even tho the skin isn't necesary to change) And just make it another object, a computer that doesn't require a CID and it's unlocked, or that you can make a locked one, but has other sort of mechanism (Could do it via a password or something like that).
So basically what i suggest is making computers crafted to not require a CID to be accesed, but instead require a password (Or a card that can also be crafted and marked to be turned into a keycard of some sorts, like blank CID's)
Reasons:
Solutions:
If you like it, react with a tick, if you don't, with a cross

Reasons:
- It would be stupid to assume that a rebel or a citizen would be able to make a device able to read CID's and tell if they are legit or not (As specified above)
- Not all rebels have CID's, and if they do, some aren't valid.
- It's pretty dumb that everyone can see your actual name when you post something on the compuer.
- Can't litteraly tell the difference between them, could very well be a combine made, and in the case of a sweep, cps wouldn't know, this way they would know it's an ilegal computer.
- If this change is made it would give A LOT more use to the computers, as right now i feel they aren't really used that much.
Solutions:
- Make a keycard item that is craftable and doesn't require a lot to be made in the electronic section, that keycard would work exactly the same as a blank CID, you can put anything on it, and when you insert it into a computer, it'll read that information. (This card would only work on computers, and precisely in craftable computer)
- Make the craftable computers work via a password
- Change the name and the skin of the craftable computers to make them seem different than Union-Issued ones (Same as it happens with ovens and rusty ovens)
- Delete system 32
If you like it, react with a tick, if you don't, with a cross
