Crafting is dead

To create steel you will need coal and iron ore. Thus a mine has to exist. But currently there is no mine.

50% of all crafting is unusable due to steel not being available

I'm saying that WITHOUT a mine crafting is impossible. So you either have to change crafting or add a mine

I believe what he mean, is to add some ore & coal deposits around the map to be able to craft steel ingots, the same one used during V2 as the craft rely on mining a few resources beforehand.

Will look into this with the team. Think the current map might not support mining right now so temp issue
