An errant piece of crumpled up paper rustles by your foot, and is caught on it. Upon inspection, it seems to be a crudely written prayer, of sorts.
god keep all you folk who died in the blaze, god keep all you who died to contain it, god keep all you who hoped to escape
keep you in heaven with peace forever
you're in a better place
god our father,
your power brings us to birth,
your provedence guides our lives,
and by your command we return to dust.
lord, those who die still live in your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
i pray in hope the dead
in company with christ,
who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in your kingdom,
unite us together again in one family,
to find peace forever and ever from this dying earth.
amen.
