CWU/CMU Intercoms​

Gonna keep this short because it's just a simple suggestion. Add two stationary radios connected to both the CWU & CMU channels at both the warehouse entrance and the CMU reception. This will allow citizens to contact members of these factions a lot easier and have less trouble using their services. Additionally, make it one way so that radio chatter does not come back through the intercom.

Only cons i can see is coding it to be a one way radio (altho it is possible. I have seen it before) and also the potential to spam these channels.​

I feel 50/50 on this... its a good idea, but its very subject to abuse... It could work better on the CMU side, but on CWU side, I really dont see the use for it.

Echoing the above, more CMU use, but even then, not really.
Request devices can already be used to contact either the CMU or CWU, ontop of Civil Protection, via the right click menu.

The only issue with request devices is that, currently, only CCA or CP access, radio wise, allows you to see any of them.

CWU whitelist doesnt let you see them, and its potentially the same for the CMU but I cant confirm or deny. A CMU player can likely post about it.

This sounds nice and all but ultimately our CMU is too small for it. Same with the CWU - there's not a lot of industrial areas outside of the workhouse that this can be applied to.

I was meaning to ask for this myself..

CMU is using handheld radios, but if they could work like stationary request devices that would be great.

Ultimately medics staying within the clinic is BAD for rp and they should be encouraged to go outside whenever possible.

Sure we have request devices but they're rarely used, ESPECIALLY by new players.

Spamming is neither here nor there, the clinic is in the centre of the city in one of it's busiest parts. I'm sure we'll see one or two instances sure, before they're instantly arrested on request and carted off.

So uhhhhhhh please add this?
