Hello

Thank you for taking part in the event. Time for some feedback. I've not ran events on that scale for a long time, so it's nice to get back into the habit of it.

Let's see what you guys think.

WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?
Loyalist perspective, I loved that I got to use a fucking sniper rifle on day one and snipe the shit out of the Cops (it was cathartic ICly and OOCly). On day two, I'm glad I got put into the main force, otherwise, I would have been mowed down by every fanatic and their mother.

WHAT DIDN'T YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?
On both days - BOTH DAYS - I was shot by OTA. On day one I was attacked and brought back up multiple times. On day two, I was killed because the others were complaining OTA would fucking kill them.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT?
I will preface this moment with I was pretending to be a fanatic. A rogue Civil Protection was on the ledge. I did this:

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS?
Good event on the admin side.

WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?

The actual fighting sections, clearing out areas in ways that require tactical thinking, the greater emphasis on player choice affecting the flow of the event, stuff like that mainly

WHAT DIDN'T YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?

NEVER MAKE OTA AND OAA COORDINATE EVER AGAIN. It's become quite apparent that the OAA and OTA are just incapable of working together on fucking anything, there's no coordination between the two because of dumb Combine bullshittery, and it overall has a negative impact on the tactical thinking required from these kinds of events as there's no way to effectively coordinate movements on the OAA/OTA side so long as the two are together for this shit. Also, that tank was kind of bullshit since it just refused to die for some reason.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT?

The fighting in No Man's Land going up to Parliament on day 2 was some of the most fun I've had during the event, and also watching Westminster get fucking nuked lmao

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS?

i like pizza crust

WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?
The combat overall, and playing the medical officer, running around healing downed people

WHAT DIDN'T YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?

Both times the OTA decide to kill, all of the OAA, for very minor things, even when some of us were complying with their orders, as I did at the end of today before the void

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT?
I and a few other OAA were pinned by machine gun fire, I had to run back and forth between covers, getting ever whoever went down back up, as well as the ending bit where we sall Parlamint get fucking exploded

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS?
While the GMs may have overreacted a bit at the end of day two, I do believe what the OTA did was extremely idiotic and did fuck over the event before the void.

yes, but killing every single one, even the ones who were complying at the time, is still dumb
It was a bunch of non-characters, killing a bunch of actual characters with personality, for the actions of 2 or 3 people, out of the whole group
I am glad it got voided, the event would have not been as fun overall.

WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?
It was meh, not a lot I liked. Being a captain was okay, and the S2K was fun.

WHAT DIDN'T YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?
OTA killing us in both days, being demoted from captain for no reason, gredwitches base causing lag. And no one really listening to orders.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT?
Shooting cps with rockets and crashing the server 💀

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS?
Let it be a lesson not to have ota and maa work together brah.

First day everyone had their own tasks to complete, remnants actually had something to do instead of 'Survive', on second day i was confused how we got enlisted into OSF or OAA whatever it's called. It was quite annoying that OTA decided 'Hey, they didn't listen to us therefore they die' and started to kill every OSF they see, however my mp7 and 50 skill guns have cleared up a OWS and a EOW in less then 5 seconds before my ass got turn into hole'd cheese by a SSG OTA. The communication between two groups were awful, it was almost as a competition who'll get to Delmond first.

WHAT DIDN'T YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?

0 effort put into cooperation between all three factions parttaking in the event. OTA were pretty much standing at the side most of the time and waiting for PvP, OSF were doing passiveRP on how they love their battatlion, talking baguette instead of our beloved bri'ish, remnants being pressured the fuck out of whenever given the chance. I disliked how even a single 'no' to your superior would result into death via overwatch firing squad.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT?

Me jumping on Delmond in attempt to zip tie him and my character just /charfallover for no reason and letting the other conscript just kill him on spot

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS?

Why do CP appear out of no where when i shot.

WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?
I liked the Combat.

WHAT DIDN'T YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?
Not a lot of actual roleplay. I wish there was more moments of DnD type decisions that let us RP. I tried to rappel up to Parliament so I could get in the helicopter that Blake was in but admins would not let me rappel up and stop Blake from escaping. I felt like I was the only one doing any of the mission.
When Blake crashed he threw what I thought was a bomb at me when I found him. I shot him for throwing the bomb at me.
Radx told me it was a tea machine.......
I caused all of this civil war for a fucking tea machine?

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT?

Throwing the nade at the APC and accidentally crashing the server

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS?

A fucking tea machine?

WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?
I really liked the all out warfare that was happening on both days. OTA and OAA each having their own things to do with OTA as the big guns and OAA as the little men taking apart the enemy (blowing up generators, scouring through the city, etc.), and all the little passive moments in between.

WHAT DIDN'T YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?
I feel like OTA never really take accountability for them messing up. They kill one of us, one of us gets demoted, they slaughter us without waiting to hear from an admin, it’s just “Well, that wouldn’t happen if OAA didn’t-“. If OAA mess up, we know, we get lashings and possibly killed, and chewed out OOCly. It just sucks that when OAA and OTA do stuff together, it always ends like this.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT?
I have two, and they were both day one.
The first one was blowing up a generator which, by proxy, blew up an entire building. That was awesome.
The second moment was between me and a CP after the assault had ended. Everyone packed stuff up and moved on, thinking they had executed everyone. My guy, being a psychopath, was making sure the job was done when I found an Officer bleeding out. I then had a moment where he and I spoke, talking about the fighting that had ensued and a small discussion on him being forced into Civil Protection so his mother could have benefits. We had a small scuffle where he tried to roll out of the way of my shot to his head, but I hit him in the chest downing him for good. My character, in a rare show of humanity, told the man his mother’s a good woman so his last thoughts would be him with his mother. I then executed, silently walking off and never bringing it up. A moment which reminded me why I enjoy RPing so much, the little things.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS?
Really enjoyed the event, but I felt like there were a few times GMs noclipped somewhere to take us by surprise, but I can’t confirm. Also, GMs getting pissy day one for getting sniped (despite having snipers) and ruining the passive RP we were doing. Other than that though, everyone did a good job.

Hi. OAA/OSF Lead here.

Just to sort of address the generalized complaints in this thread about said OAA and OSF, after the whole situation where we had a clusterfuck at the end of the OSF, I've been working to rebuild a better faction for V3 release, and i've been trying to think of ways to have our place in the current server lore, (again). Either way; I am here to address the most common complaint coming from my members and those who were taking part in the faction here in this event, we do want to look into doing this sorta thing again BUT. Im going to be discussing with the OTA lead, to solve the issues of working together between the factions. Since Overwatch is supposed to be in the BACK of the assault when the conscripts are involved. They lead the way, they are the cannon fodder. When you have 2 factions on the same side competing you get shit like what happened during this event.

All in all, I am sorry for the clusterfuck that happened here. And if anyone is genuinely interested in asking about the faction please feel free to find me in the Willard Discord server

WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?
Pew pews. However, I was present for day 2 only.

WHAT DIDN'T YOU LIKE ABOUT BOTH DAYS?

The lack of organization, the lack of orders given, the lack of coordination between OTA and OAA, not much 'RP' really, and the open execution of every OAA unit, a second time apparently, because one guy fucked up.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT?

3 RPGs being fired at a cluster of CPs after a grenade exploded and instantly crashing the server.
And even though the mass killing of OAA was voided, it was fun to run away, get chased by the combine charger unit, turning around and absolutely nailing his head, then turning around and running away.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS?

Please, more coordination between OTA and OAA and general organization.

That doesn’t feel too fun, imo. We’re better working together how we did, and tactically it’s better to have the main show of force with OTA at the front and have OAA filter through them into the fight. We don’t need OAA in the front, we just need OTA to communicate. We gave them access to our comms and everything, and they didn’t say anything to us. This is what I mean when I mention lack of accountability with OTA. We as a whole need to improve communication, but for some reason it feels as if all the blame is on the OAA, yet again.
