| My throat hurt. I couldn't breathe. I heard someone screaming. I realised, because my throat hurt so much, that I was the one who was screaming. My name is Noelle Cadieux. I don't want to die. Sinking towards the ground, bitterness consumes me. Seconds tick by, my heartbeat slowing, blood pouring from my wounds, its warmth pooling around me. Footsteps approach, filled with fear, anger, and malice. I crawl, desperately reaching out, searching for someone, anyone. There's so much left to say... Haunting laughter lingers within me, begging to be released.  In the grip of icy torment, a searing ache pierces my skull, consuming all in a relentless surge of agony. Colors fade, surrendering to an engulfing darkness that swallows my vision. The relentless ringing echoes, refusing to cease. No respite, only a twisted existence, entangled in a never-ending cycle of torment. |
