Deaths should never = an Insta PK, anywhere.

dying to an NPC in the sewers doesn't do anything to create RP, asides from making yet another risk to RP as a rebel

there has to be PK at some point otherwise this just becomes darkRP

edit: just noticed this is a pretty old thread lol.

There will still be p constant PKs, as this is a thread mostly about PVP action. I'm saying that in those situations it should be wounded over an outright PK as it'd allow both parties to make choices and roleplay them out.

IT also gives more roleplay overall to the medical-orientated factions... As ATM their RP is just surface level because it has to be (not to their own fault). This is thanks to the very gamey medical system.

yea i could agree with you if either their equipment would be partially lost or fully lost.

there has to be risk involved when attacking, in my opinion. even to cops.

Honestly I think we could find the best of both worlds by having events that explicitly say “you will be PK’d if you die during this event” (with the exception of blue moon circumstances like bugs/glitches) where you get more reward for surviving and those that are more casual, no risk of PK but significantly less rewarding.

Ultimately you should never have to worry about getting dicked out of so much development over an NPC. Literally everywhere I’ve been the last twelve to thirteen years if you die to an NPC it’s just injury roleplay, or NLR, but having NPCs be able to kill you permanently isn’t a terrible idea, it just has to be implemented in the kind of way where you have an explicitly PK event tied to it that rewards you for surviving.
