Bug Died because of elevator

I was looting the sewers and went into the elevator that takes you to Victory Street, and my character immediately went into a downed state and proceeded to die when the elevator started to go up for no reason.

This is an age old bug since...well when even I started playing literally a year ago. No fix seems in sight cause the source engine is older than some of our users but....

If you crouch jump right as the elevator stops, this'll never happen to you again. Learnt that after countless elevator deaths.

This is a source issue, not much we can really do, unfortunately. Sorry.
