The Geneva Crime Family hailing from Chicago was first present within the 1910s. Being less open about about their business but arriving to America as Sicilian Gangsters, they first started out on a rocky hill. The founder, Donnie Simone had first migrated to US, Chicago (around the late 1880s) to make a living after being fed constant propaganda in Italy about how much money could be made within the country. An unimaginable amount. Not only was Donnie interested by this fact, his friends were already fleeing to US, Chicago, New York and states all over. So, Donnie himself took the ride and found himself in the Westside of Chicago. Being a young-adult then, he was employed into an Italian Restaurant - although he didn't have any relations with the owner, being Italian had made the elderly owner and the young Donnie connect.
Donnie being a honest worker of the establishment, he worked and worked. Usually working the cashier, taking orders in and delivering to known local residents. However, only two years after being employed was when the business started being harassed. The windows were being broken by thrown rocks, threats were being sent through letters to the owner and so on. And only a month after, a established Crime Family had came to visit the business and offered protection for money. It was blatant extortion, a tactic at that. But the elderly owner hadn't realised this and instead paid weekly for protection. The threats, thrown rocks and such were stopped only a day after the deal was made. This arose suspicion in Donnie but gave his very own inspiration. So, not any longer after, Donnie himself started a family with his cousins.
At the time, they weren't known as mobsters or an actual Crime Family but they went by the Simone Gang in the street and were a couple of young Italian to American-Italian chaps. It was really a gathering group that shared moments and worked together to make a couple bucks. Fortunately, this soon changed and they made ties with a real Crime Family, Genovese. And Genovese offered them drugs to sell on the street in return they split the earning 65% to Genovese and 35% to the Simone Gang. Donnie agreed and this is where they really got into business. Their second real crime was when they harassed a local corner store constantly until Donnie had walked into the shop and just like the saw a year ago, offered protection to the owner. The deal was made and like again, a day later, the said "mysterious" harassment stopped.
Money was being made and the Simone Gang was growing, when Donnie had hit his middle-ages in the early 1910s; he had finally held a family gathering with over 75 known associates and possibility of a lot more in the unknown. Within this family gathering, Donnie had made news that this "Simone Gang" would also be known as the "Simone Crime Family". This was a big stepping stone for the family as it was when they were really established into the business. Donnie had later made better ties with the Genovese Crime Family of New York and together they worked in unison on making unimaginable amounts of money like Donnie had dreamed of.
The last thing Donnie did was buy a string of businesses to set them up all over the Westside of Chicago. The main business being the Italian Restaurant he used to work at which closed down after the owner he so respected and knew died. So, in memory of the owner, the very man that took care of his well-being. Donnie bought the building and set it up a original Sicilian Cuisine Restaurant named after the old owner of the building. "Joseph's Sicilian Cuisine". These businesses also held a sentimental value while racketeering in some serious loads of money. But also mostly used for money laundering. "Joseph" or Donnie's old employer was soon known as the Grandfather of the Simone Gang - even though he had no direct relations to it other than a sincere relationship with Donnie.

The Simone Crime Family is now living under the Combine's noses and rules. The members at present times are split up, however, the Geneva Crime Family - but known as the Simone Crime Family. Had recently set up under an ex-known Simone Family Capo as "Gold Tooth". He now solely runs the last branch of the Simone Crime Family within Geneva, Switzerland after facing a relocation. The Crime Family at present times are struggling to make a living, but they have figured out a way to start doing so. The first step only is to gain a couple wiseguys down for the Family. |
