Oto jestem, szukam.
I took a look earlier around the Island. I seem to have woken up from quite a headache, I still feel my head hurting even with the wound I've gotten earlier on my gut. I shouldn't be moving around, so I decided to keep my head low and write on this small booklet I've taken back in the U.S -- It seems this will serve me well for now. Writing makes the pain go away, even though I can still feel the burning sensation around my gut. If that ... Young man sees me, he might scold me. Haha, but what can he do? He's just a young man, even though he has superior knowledge of medicine than I do. I only know how to do a couple of stitches, back when they taught me on orientation regarding First Aid. What was his name ... Jacob? He's too young, I wonder what brought him here. I also want to know how he found out my name.
Still, I need to work on my English, years of living in Polska, and transferring into the United States is truly a chore for me.
I still don't remember anything after being brought into the ship. I ... Only remember a bright explosion, a very bright explosion. Then there I was, inside an unknown ship sailing away on a place they call 'The Void'. I think I talked to other people, but my memory is failing me. I only remember some names and a flat cap-wearing British female that seemed hostile when I first found her in the decks of the ship. Then some names of the people that I've found over on the planet. I think the names I remember are ... Mina, Jacob, Hector, Wyatt, and a few others that I am yet to talk to. The group knows little about me, and I haven't told my name to anyone yet. A few other people know that I speak English, the rest knows that I only speak Polish. I don't trust anyone, and even if I let some of myself go free for anyone to meet, I lessen what they need to know about me. I am yet to see anyone trustworthy to talk to, therefore I enjoy the views of the Baltic waters for now - they prove to be delightful for relaxation and peace of mind in this hell.
Earlier, I talked to that British-sounding female. Ellie, was it? We had small talk, she told me that her 'personal belonging' (which turned out to be a gun), was taken away from her forcefully by the captain. I told her, "Why not ask for it back? You held yourself good back in that alien planet.", she gave me this thousand-mile stare. I figured perhaps that was such a stupid question to ask. I asked her why she hated the captain, although my memory does not serve me well. I think she hates the captain primarily because of how ... Hostile he is from what it may seem. I had my first contact with the captain myself, he was quite the fighter I might say.
I took a walk around the Island after a couple of helicopters passed by, from the looks of it, the helicopters were too ... 'Futuristic', I have not seen any of it's kind. Maybe it's made by the United States? Something to fight back against the alien scum, maybe ruski-made? I don't know, but whatever it may be, I wish to stray away from it. For now. After a few moments, I saw someone in the cave. I took a peek, and saw the captain, as well as Jacob, talking to a green creature. Although I forgot what they call the creature, all I know is that they might be planning something. I thought, "maybe they're trying to find a way out of the coast!", but after recollecting memories of the highway being blocked, I abstained. From what I can see, they are talking about something else.
From what I've seen today, the group truly is something that I am yet to trust. I have no one to talk to, and I recently got shot by two ruskis. The pain is still there, and I need to sleep. I asked Ellie where the group might be holding supplies, and she told me they were keeping it inside the Lighthouse. If I am to get something for myself to use and get out of here, the Lighthouse storage is my best bet. I need to go and find myself some painkillers, a map, some food, and batteries for my flashlight. I don't need any weapons, nor do I know how to use a gun. I know how to survive out there, but perhaps it will be a long time before that wish of mine becomes true. Who knows, maybe my mind will change after some time ... But for now, I'll only trust myself and myself only.
