Do ants still exist?

I'm not talking about antlions, im talking about the species Formicidae (Ants). It would be interesting to see how they adapted to the rule of the combine, specifically how they would find food, scavenge, etc. Actually it would be very nice to have a IC book talking about the remnants of what animals remain (pigeons, crows, etc)

If ants are wiped out even if humans kick the Combine off-world I'm not sure Earth will be at all survivable for humanity.

fairly sure they would, it would be hard for humans to reproduce but with ant queens they don’t have that sort of need or requirement.

im like.. 80% sure ants would still be around cities
