It would cause so much less of a headache if padlocked doors could remember the password to them much like how storage containers do.

SignUp Now!It would be great, on the topic of padlock QoL improvements, if you could also use Shift+E to lock it without having to click right on the padlock.+Support
I'd also say have it open similar to how biolocks work - Shift+E Once it has the password remembered
you just look at the padlock and press e to lock it..It would be great, on the topic of padlock QoL improvements, if you could also use Shift+E to lock it without having to click right on the padlock.
Its especially painful when you cant lock a door from one side because the padlock decided to randomly hover in the middle of a hallway, or a few inches off of its spot on the door, to where only one side can lock it.
Sometimes the padlock floats a foot away from the door so it's only accessible from one sideyou just look at the padlock and press e to lock it..
that is after a reset or a server-shutdown glitch.Sometimes the padlock floats a foot away from the door so it's only accessible from one side
My personal suggestion for this is if it was to be implemented then there would be like a slight waiting time of a few seconds or something till it unlocks the container you already have used before as your character would be "unlocking" it than it being instant, it would essentially be the same as you taking your time entering the password for the container in question. It would cause so much less of a headache if padlocked doors could remember the password to them much like how storage containers do.
