Sadly, due to a few scheduling issues, I will have to cancel the "Hostile Takeover" event. I know this is rather short notice, and I feel like a huge tool for doing this after getting people's hopes up, but I simply won't have the GM support (or time) I need to run the event successfully, and pushing the event back further isn't possible either.
On the bright side, you can now apply for the mega-event with your surviving characters, a link to the apps thread is below. (You only need to apply if you want to be in a specific faction, you don't need to apply to be a regular citizen). Apps for the mega-event close on July 12th, so get them in quick!
