This complaint thread exists for the acquisition of the document containing the evidence that was used to investigate my shop, The Flying Dutchman. I would like clarification on the decision-making process that led to the expulsion so an accurate follow-up post can be created.

This is not a summary of all evidence as parts of it are blacked out. We are attempting an investigation of our own with what we have, and we do require every detail available. This is an OOC matter, not an IC one. I would request that all information be divulged to us for the completion of our own post.

I have requested some things to be uncensored... however, some names and bits of info WILL NOT BE uncensored. It is censored for good reason and is not required for you to know to assess the investigation that led to the Dutchman's demise. In the end, all our characters were affected, even mine since I was working in the store as you know. I simply accepted what happened myself and gone [META] for the time being. Overall, all the info you need is there, some bits will be uncensored as I have asked them to, but it will never be completely uncensored to prevent metagaming.

I will repeat myself once again and you can either accept this or not bother and that is the fact that some information will remain CONCEALED. Metagame is a huge concern for all parties right now, and names of important people will be left out on purpose as well as information that could point to who it was, etc.

We are not open to negotiation on this matter. It is a simple matter of working with the information we allow to reveal to you. That is final.

Against my thoughts and wishes to make this post in a more public thread, I'm now posting everything here. If possible, I would like this post to be opened up as this is a discussion involving 18+different people and I would like every one of them to be able to post freely. Transparency can only be a good thing for the righteous.

Not even a day before this investigation started, I found myself in an OOC argument with the CWU leads and the MoC Co-lead about filling out an OOC form in relation to my shop's activity level. I refused to comply with varus reasons not relevant to the matter at hand but, what is relevant is the fact that I argued quite heavily back and forth between them both in DMs and on the main Discord in #business-owners chat on 08/19/2021 around 7:00 PM CST. During the argument, varus passive-aggressive statements were made to me along with a threat or two. Over the course of a day or two I believe, I still had disagreements with the CWU lead about other topics regarding shops SOPs. With a hostile OOC environment being created so soon to the start of the investigation, it begs the question if the situation was created out of OOC malice. Seeing how I had no real prior run-in or issue before this point both ICly and OOCly it is at the minimum, suspicious. Especially after the fact you discover that the investigation was all started over as something as little as x5 vinegar and x3 flour. Not to even mention how the first thing you see in the Google Doc is a picture used as BM or how the whole document is written in Comic Sans font.

The entire document of evidence and investigation as a whole is skewed and could only be found suspicious if it were known we were Rebels in the first place, but that's not the case. They knew OOCly we were Rebels and they came in with the intent to uncover us if they found evidence to it or not. They would not take it any other way and the proof is quite clearly within their own evidence against us.

All of my group members have gone through the provided document and made comments in sections highlighting red flags. We also call every witness testimony into question with how they went about finding such information about us as we find it unlikely that they could do so without foul play.

The evidence was provided to avoid what were the very predictable accusations of meta that would follow from us heisting the hidden base, not for us to have a debate about it. IC actions have IC consequences.

Your concerns amount to either "You did the wrong IC" or "Why are you targeting us?", if you can't deal with the IC consequences maturely then I don't know what else to tell you.
