<...Transmission Readout...> Lev here...Requisitions request got dropped on my desk this morning by the IMS. We've been busy as hell lately and I'm honestly amazed they had the guts to even show up asking us for anything. Well, what do you know...here they are. Says on this paper they are in need of some low-level, low-priority cargo moved. I told them we could get it moved onto a more secure route with plenty of protection, but they didn't want to deal with the paperwork. Not sure I blame them entirely. Manifest lists it as a piece of medical equipment so probably going to one of the backwater clinics in Twenty-four. Given its coming from Thirteen it may explain why they dont want an excess of files - lord knows 24 and 13 get along like hungry lions over a common kill. Not my problem though. My problem is making it your problem, so here we go... I accepted the job but we don't really have any spare engines to send this shit on. All of them are occupied with carrying cargo up north for now and given that this is carrying little more than some food and some worthless X-ray machine, I'd really rather not wait a week and waste one of our good trains on it. So, I'll be putting it on a junker instead. Course, I'm not an idiot, this thing is likely to break down along the way and we'll need some capable hands to make sure repairs can be done on the spot. The only thing worse than wasting a good train is having to tow a bad one. Im sure you get it. Point is, you'll be taken to Thirteen on one train, disembark and get onto another bound for Twenty-four. Look after the thing and the cargo it carries...you'll get there within a few hours no issue. I'm sure the CCA will be happy to have you help and will pass some goodies along for being such loyal subjects. I dont really care. You'll be provided with some basic protection in case some bullsquid tries to hitch a ride. Thanks, Lev out. |
