Before I actually begin the appeal, I would like to prove that I am who I claim to be by leading you to my Steam profile page (Link is embedded in the previous text), where I have added a short addendum to my profile description. This clarification that I am actually Father Christmas is prudent, and its importance will become known later. I implore you to read the entire appeal, this is a gross injustice.

The reason you were banned?: Stealing items and chips from an unlocked container after an admin made it clear that doing so would be against the rules

There are additional images that I will provide later, however for the sake of brevity, I will continue with the assumption that you understand the kind of person that Fidel is. In the days following my ban, Fidel made two main posts on this forum under different alternate accounts as a means of extending the duration that I was banned from Willard. The first of these posts was a ban appeal made under an account called 'The Arizona Hangman' where he claims that the appeal is made on my behalf. Naturally, considering the nature of the appeal I'm currently writing, this claim is abhorrently false, and I'm disappointed that no steps were taken to verify the validity of that appeal. As a result of the appeal that Fidel made, my ban appears to have initially been extended to September of this year, a change that I was never notified of and was thus ignorant of.

The second post he made was a ban request on both him and myself under the account 'TimeCrimes', where he claims I planned to rejoin the server on an alt account and that Fidel assisted me in the effort. There are two main claims made in this post: The aforementioned ban evasion, and that I was a member of, or at least associated with a group known as the 'Toxic Boi Clique'. Speaking on the claim of ban evasion, it is blatantly false, and I implore Willard staff to scour the server logs for any possible evidence that supports the contrary. I have only ever had one alternate account on the Steam platform, an account called 'Pure, Unfiltered Sodium' (STEAM_0:1:612033672) that I created back in 2021 when I was still a dumb teenager. I created this account after I was banned from a server that I frequented after I battle-logged (Similar to LTAP or NITRP, the server had a PK system where a single death meant the permanent death of a character), however, I have not even touched that account since July of 2021.
Both of these screenshots are taken after I logged in to my alt account for the sake of creating this appeal. As you can see, these screenshots show that I have not used this account for Gmod in two years (to the day, ironically). Just to be safe and show that this account is mine, I have added some text to the description of this alt that is similar to the text I added to my main account.
To address the second claim, that Fidel stated he was assisting me in evading my ban on a group called the 'Toxic Boi Clique', this is also false. Beyond the obvious, such as how the group members page shows that I am not nor have I ever been a member of this group, there is not one line of text present in the discussion, comments, or announcements page that so much as mentions me in passing, much less that Fidel was assisting me in the evading the ban.

As a result of this ban request, my ban duration was extended to be permanent, and I was again not notified of this development. To clarify: I was unaware of the initial ban extension from July to September. To me, the ban seemed to have been extended from one month to permanent at some point between my ban and early July, which I assumed was the result of a weekly/monthly/quarterly staff meeting to discuss such topics. The only reason this information came to me was due to the help of my friend Zebra (zebra#0367), a frequent player on the Willard HL2RP server who relayed this information after I announced that I was working on my appeal in a private discord server we're both in.

I’d like to use these first few sentences to apologize for my actions; for blatantly breaking the server’s rules and going against the judgment of server staff. What I did was a moment of greed and stupidity that I have come to regret immensely in the weeks following my ban. I do not contest the ban I received, it was well deserved. What I would like to argue against, however, is the change of my ban’s duration from one month to permanent. I consider this change unwarranted. In my two years of on-and-off use of this server, I have– to my knowledge– seldom broken any server rules or acted in a way that impeded the function of the server beyond small-scale misunderstandings, such as my ignorance of what timescale was and its use in RP situations. Considering the relatively clean slate I had prior to the incident that got me banned, I find that a permanent ban is uncalled for. To reiterate: What I am seeking in this appeal is not an unban. Rather, I am requesting that the decision to change my ban length to permanent be reversed.
