I'm gonna keep this short
1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far?
GMs have a hateboner for rebels and refuse to let them leave their base, to the detriment of RP on both sides.

2. What did you like about it so far?

The vibes are pretty immaculate. It really feels like we're living in a shit-filled sewer.

3. What did you hate about it so far?

The incessant urge for any GM in a 3 mile radius to whip their toolgun out and fill the tunnels with NPCs the second a rebel dares to set foot outside of their base. And their tendency to be modest with the scavenging rewards to the degree that it is literally not worth it to go outside at all. If your goal is to keep rebels from exploring, then you have certainly succeeded. I just think it's an utterly retarded goal.

4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?

Get the GMs to hop off of the rebel faction's dick and let them RP somewhere that isn't the 3 centimetre square corner that you've relegated as the "peasant zone"

5. Any closing thoughts or words?

I want my god damn AR2.

1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far?

So far I'm personally enjoying the event, as it's a much needed change of pacing from the city-rp BS everyone is used to.

2. What did you like about it so far?

I'm enjoying the post-apocalyptical feel it has. The overall tone has taken a nice shift, and the more passive focused world building is nice.

3. What did you hate about it so far?

Not much from the Combine perspective, sometimes I wish there was more for us to do. The loot we've gotten from certain areas is pitiful though.

4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?

More caches, interesting story tid-bits in certain areas.. just world building in general.

5. Any closing thoughts or words?

1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far?
Its okay so far.

2. What did you like about it so far?

The neutral zone is entertaining to go to and interact with the *populace*
The metro vibes are pretty neat
Being able to say fuck you to restrictions and pretty much just play a rebel in a cops uniform is fun.

3. What did you hate about it so far?

Seems like most of the focus is set on the rebels so much that even if CP's take a hike deep into the tunnels no one really sees us go out, so we don't even encounter anything while taking a hike down anywhere, while the rebels on the other hand are 1984 watched over the moment you set foot out of Paradise.
If anything does happen, its generally just killing waves of NPC's, which I wish was not the case. Wish GMs would think of something more than to spawn a few and then fly off in observer.

4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?

I think the quality of what game masters could offer for the players could be improved.
Also I think the two sides should clash more in a way that they are forced to work together- even if for a small amount of time.
Give us a goal to work towards other than "collect chip, buy gun"

5. Any closing thoughts or words?

1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far?
Not enjoying it. As was previously mentioned, the rebels aren't really allowed to step foot outside of the base because the second one does this the tunnels get filled with NPC's making it impossible to try and loot or just explore. I'm forced to sit in the base and I can't do this for more than 15-30 minutes without getting bored out of my mind.

2. What did you like about it so far?
I liked the eerie environment, all the ambience makes it feel quite creepy. That's probably the only thing I liked about it.

3. What did you hate about it so far?
The points I mentioned on #1 apply to this. I also despise the fact how goddamn long the distances are you have to travel to basically gain nothing. There really isn't much loot to be found crates wise.

4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?
Either make it so that rebels can actually leave Paradise to go out and scavenge without the constant threat of getting fucked by antlions or zombies every second. Even with a larger group it's quite difficult to travel. Or, just change the map to something that's on the surface.

5. Any closing thoughts or words?
I need to see your balls.

1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far?
combine side is very lacking, citizen rp there is dead as hell; boring and nothing to do.

2. What did you like about it so far?

big change from city rp, more fun

3. What did you hate about it so far?

like i said, being a citizen in the combine outpost gives you nothing to do, making it extremely boring until you are finally able to go outside

4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?

the combine side of the thing, and giving things to do for the citizens stuck inside of the gates with no way out

5. Any closing thoughts or words?

money

1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far?
Interesting as the atmosphere is way more dangerous and new
2. What did you like about it so far?
The map itself. Some of the events yet there would be a lot of changes needed

3. What did you hate about it so far?
The events itself. You fight a whole group of Scavs yet you cant do anything to the bodies that you could get something notworthy like AMMO which is becoming very expensive for everyone or even as simple as a dogshit gun for people without em.

Secondly the antlions....... Copy and paste them on players that werent in a 4 man group sure is an interesting way to make em fuck off.
4 man group walks inside a specific tunnel most you will get is 20 antlions and a few zombies. 2 Man group walks in 50+ antlions

4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?
Allow us script whores to have more potential other than do jobs for money for 5 years so you can get a funny looking gun. Maybe add quests where the enemies itself are of some value.

5. Any closing thoughts or words?

POV : The GM did not like you being with 1 other guy.

1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far?
Pretty good event thus far. I and the rest of my tribe have been constantly running around and doing shit, haven’t really been sitting inside the rebel base much.

2. What did you like about it so far?
Player agency. It seemed like no matter where we went there was some GM who did something with us, even if it was just spawning some NPCs.

3. What did you hate about it so far?
Lack of civil protection/rebel clashes. The two factions instantly became buddy-buddy with seemingly 0 tension

4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?
I’ve heard combine-sides players complain of nothing to do. Maybe find something for them before they ragequit

5. Any closing thoughts or words?
give CPs an incentive to leave their side of the tunnels. On City maps, rebels are heavily discouraged from sitting in the sewers via gas and have to go to the Combine’s territory. Now make it the opposite somehow. I’ve yet to hear of CPs coming into our tunnels (neutral zone doesn’t count)

Also let us fight the hunter for realsies next time we go out looking to kill it

1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far? Honestly I really like the new setting, it's a fresh perspective from average city life and allows some characters to drop the mask they had previously been forced to wear while under Overwatch supervision

2. What did you like about it so far?
The map and Prop work is excellent, GMs have been amazing and at the ready to do everything at any time. @Keyblockor love ya bud

3. What did you hate about it so far?
Hate is a very strong word, what I slightly dislike is the lack of opportunities for Passive rp scenarios (maybe there has been and I've just not seen any of it unfortunately)

4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?
Just as I referred to above. More Passive RP scenarios for the Combine/Loyalist sides.

5. Any closing thoughts or words?

"Sounds like someone's breaking in!"

"It's just a storm Dick, sit down"

1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far? I’ve personally been really enjoying it as a Civil Protection player, thought there are a few aspects that I think could use improvement. The map is very large and propped extraordinarily well, so walking long distances isn’t as bad since you atleast have interesting scenery to look at.

2. What did you like about it so far?I love the way it’s a continuation of the antlion arc, and how we’re all in this situation due to the choices that players took during it. Being able to see and talk with the other side is an interesting experience, and the lack of gear on the combine end makes things a bit harder then just “buy from vendor”. The passive world building done through broadcasts is interesting, and the way that players can influence different things is great.
3. What did you hate about it so far?
I wouldn’t really say hate, but I do wish there was more opportunity for rebels and combine to fight. Things seem a bit too calm considering the high intensity of the preceding arc’s conflict, the fact there’s been little to no conflict is a little odd, though that’s partially due to player choice. More incentives for the combine to leave their base would be nice, as we haven’t really had a direct need to do so.
4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now? Give more reasons for the combine to leave their side of the tunnels, and vice versa, allow for a bit more in the way of factional conflict, besides that I can’t really think of a whole lot that can be improved

5. Any closing thoughts or words? Nope

Adding on to this ("The GM did not like you being with 1 other guy"): This was stupid. I am the "human" in this screenshot.
1682909993448.png
This screenshot was taken from gametracker, which tracks NPC kills. NanCi is the other guy who was with me, and we went out to scavenge as a duo. We literally killed a total of 100 antlions. Stop bombarding us with these antlions, we hate them. The GM for this scavenging run, towards the end, literally spawned enough antlions to result in me lagging so hard that I lost connection to the server for a solid 20 or 30 seconds, only to come back to find myself dead and being eaten by an innumerable amount of ants. Thankfully my buddy pulled me out, but it was so stupid.

On our second day in the metro, I think I can say the amount of antlion spam has decreased. But I leave this reply as a record of probably the worst antlion spam there has ever been. 2 guys vs 100 antlions.
You'd expect us to have been given a reward for such a thing, but we were punished instead. We hardly made back our losses in ammunition, repair plates and medical.

1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far?
Pretty fun event

2. What did you like about it so far?

The general atmosphere and interactions that are had within the metro

3. What did you hate about it so far?

The lack of supplies to make ammo and just ammo in general, I get it its a metro but cmon, when admins spawn in like 50 antlions + the shitty hitreg like what can I do.

4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?

If adding more ammo is off the table, please limit the amount of antlions or atleast give us NPCs to buy shit that can make ammo.

5. Any closing thoughts or words?

not really

2. What did you like about it so far?
The propping done on the map is quite stellar; as is the atmosphere & tonality.

3. What did you hate about it so far?
Everything, besides the latter mentioned above.

4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?
Give people something to do.

1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far?
A nice change of pace from the usual CityRP. Lots of Passive and exciting moments.
2. What did you like about it so far?

Everything, honestly. The atmosphere and NPC spawns atleast on my end have been great.

3. What did you hate about it so far?

Not much I can say I "hate". What I have disliked however is the recent hunt for the Hunters which took an hour just for it to last 5 minutes (Cannot blame anyone for it as everyone had different plans for it)

4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?

Give us more WARDENS. The NZ has only had Nachtigallen and we mostly see Nacht whenever there's BMDs. Give us the evil BMDs...

5. Any closing thoughts or words?

Wardens

Really enjoying the atmosphere and passive RP with folks, really well done if you ask me:approve:

In regards to the incident where we attempted to hunt the 2 hunters,

I may have raged a little bit but now I am calm and let me provide some actual feedback:

- please… put the enemies somewhere infront of us a lot sooner. These OTA and hunters are not actual characters, they’re tools to be used by the CT. Running around for an hour straight not finding anything with 0 hints from staff is mostly why some of us got so mad.

- spawning the hunters in a long, narrow tunnel rather than somewhere else was massively un-fun. Basically the fight narrowed down who could spam the tunnel the most… and unsurprisingly the admins controlling hunter NPCs that have infinite ammo and no cooldown on how much flechettes can be fired won in that regard. It was quite literally impossible to push forward.

I had hoped for an actual fight, of which, whether we died or not relied on us actually not playing like idiots. But in that situation, there was little we could do.

Overall, please just put them near us or give us some sort of hint. These aren’t actual player enemies with built from the ground-up characters we’re hunting, these things only spawn when the staff will it. So… god please don’t let us run around this map for an hour straight again if we try to kill the things again.

We potentially could have won, since supposedly (according to Neonity) we had brought the soldiers to near death through sheer vortbeam and bullet spam down the tunnel alone. So to lose due to the Hunter players having no limit to the sheer amount of Flechettes they can spam down the tunnel (not to mention the ‘nachtigallen commander’ event rebel that completely cockblocked us) was… disheartening to say the least. Especially after the hour of running circles around the map

New survey released to work alongside this feedback thread:

1. What are your first impressions or thoughts thus far?
it was decent really.
2. What did you like about it so far?

I loved the metro feeling, something different from city rp.
3. What did you hate about it so far?
WHY DO YOU GMs HAVE TO SWARM REBELS WITH NPCs?
it's like they think rebels have inf ammo on them, EVERY DAY i needed to use my repair plating! I GET IT, there gotta be some npcs sometimes, but not that much!
4. What do you believe can be improved throughout this Arc as of right now?

it's ending lol
5. Any closing thoughts or words?

kinda late but had to do it
