Felix Poelking - Free

RIP Felix Poelking. He went from a citizen, to a conscript, to a citizen, CMRU manager, rebel, back to a conscript, and then to a rebel again. What a fucking life. You probably don't have anything to add to Nicole, but if you can think of anything then go ahead. I hope your other characters have this kind of an autobiography, because it takes someone will skill to get twelve pages of comments.

The OSF is gone, and so is another one of its soldiers. All I can say, is o7.

Back to my roots, huh? Well, I can only hope the MCP is going to keep their promise, considering I do all of this just because of her. Though it wouldn't surprise me if they kill me once I'm done. Who knows, maybe I will start to feel the sense of comradery I did when I was part of the 24th.

The Combine
The Arch-Nemesis. You only take and destroy, nothing good ever came from you. You will suffer and those blind enough to support you will too. Every Act of ' Terror' against you is justified, no matter how brutal it may be and how many sacrifices have to be made...Everything can be rebuild. Your foundations on Earth are already shaking and it won't be long before you fall, this much I am certain. I look forward to that day.

I made a pact with the devil for a huge price and little to probably no reward in exchange. Maybe they even planned to get rid of me that way from the beginning...Or maybe I'll manage to find a entirely different way

Combine Civil Administration
People who sold their soul to the Combine for power and luxury. Little do they know, that they are simply puppts and the Combine cares as much about them as it does for the rest of humanity. You will pay for your crimes, when the liberation comes and you will do so suffering. No mercy with Species-traitors.

Civil Protection
I can't believe I was genuinely thinking there were good people behind those masks. I was proven completely wrong. You have done unspeakable things to me and my friends as of late. Every single one of you deserves nothing but a painful death. Fuck you.

Ministry of Civil Protection
You promised me what I wanted if I did good as a conscript. This was probably a lie from the beginning, but I don't have much of a choice...Why do I keep falling into your traps?

Overwatch Transhuman Arm
The main militiary force of the Combine on Earth. Transhumanized Soldiers presenting the might of the Combine. Some may have empathy for you or pity you, but I don't. I know for a fact that you chose that path on your own and went through the procedure of transhumanization wilfully. Putting them down is a act of mercy.

Citizenry
I aim to please and help other people as good as I can, and I see it as my purpose. Nothing makes me happier than to see the average citizien happy. I hope even the most loyal ones of you will see through the lies of the Combine ond day, and take up arms. It's your only choice if you want to survive, otherwise you will go down with them...

Underclass
The people who require my help the most and I shall do everything in my power to help them, be it through aiding with medical or food and water. I can see the potential in the underclass. Break free from our opressors, my friends and reclaim what they've taken from us.

CMRU
The only Department within the Combine which is a force of good. They are good people and most of them share a similar mindset. I am proud that I was part of them, they were like a family for me. Hope I'll get the chance to join back one day...

Civil Worker's Union
The main force of production within the Combine and my workplace. There was never a lack of work since I was hired and I am surprised how tiring it can become. They provide citiziens with work to at least survive, which is good. But most workers seems....to have a deep faith in the Union, unlike the CMRU. I have to be very cautious.

The Resistance
The best people who are out there, actively fighting against the Combine. While there are many different cells, which inheret many different ideals, I can't help but feel like's there a sense of camaderie betweeen all of us. We'll win this war and wipe the Combine's influence on humanity away. We have to, otherwise we are facing extinction. The day of the liberation will come, just be prepared. Viva La Revolution!

I am a disgrace and I have deserved to be killed for what I've done.


Vortigaunts
Mankind's greatest ally against the Combine. I really admire their wisdom and advice and they prevented from losing myself on several occasions. They are also great warriors, saving my life and that of my friends more than one time. We'll win against the Combine together and we will be able to leave together in peace.

Rest in Peace.

The best parts of roleplay are the motivations and developments spurred from the sudden loss of characters that meant much to many others, as I'm sure Poelking's death will incur in many characters. It's narratively better for the story to be ended tragically than to fade into obscurity from longevity.
