Description:
When bread is sliced close to its expiration date for example only 3 days are left, the spoil timer resets to the full 14 days instead of continuing from the remaining 3 days. I believe same bug is happening with rest of food, needs to be tested!
Steps to reproduce:
Expected behavior: The sliced bread should retain the same remaining shelf life as the original loaf (13 days in this case).
Errors/time:
No visible error messages or console logs appeared.
Date and time of occurrence: [08.10.2025 20:29gmt+1(dd/mm/yyyy)].
This bug appears to be server-side since no local or client errors are shown.

- Obtain a loaf of bread with an expiration timer of 14 days.
- Let it age from starting counter before expiration.
- Slice the bread.
- Check the expiration time of the sliced pieces -> they now show 14 days again instead of 13.
