Probably a bit late to be suggesting this, but food quality
Low cooking skill = you can cook easier stuff at an average level, but harder stuff would be of a lower quality. The quality is in the item desc and the boosts are reduced. Some stuff would still be entirely blocked off.
So, a level 5 cook would make an average roast chicken. A quality of between 4.0 and 6.0. A level 10 cook would make a much better roast chicken, maybe an 8.0 or 9.0, with a slight chance of being below 8. There'd be some slight randomness with it, so you can't always make perfect meals.
This means that most recipes can be made at the lower levels, although at a lower quality. I don't think this should be too hard to implement, but it depends on how everything's already done and stuff. I'm mainly suggesting this as it caused problems in RP, where I couldn't make a roast chicken sandwich because I had a slightly too low level. I'd rather have a shitty sandwich than no sandwich
