The First Perimeter Conflict of City 24 was a success. A victory that was claimed by the Tactician Collective of the Perimeter Operational Detachment. Their ability to lead saw the defensive line hold.

And when victory began to slip away when their Dropship went down, The Iron grip of the Empire held firm and claimed victory for good in one final mission against the persisting threat of the attack.

But the fighting isn't over. North of the city, the Insurgents responsible reside within their fortified positions. Seeking to gather greater numbers than before to attempt try the integrity of the defensive line yet again

The time for waiting is over.

The POD is going on the offensive.

In order to do so, a new frontline must be established, deeper into hostile territory, farther away from the likes of City 24.

Functionaries are being shipped out in droves to see that these insurgent operations are not only pushed back, but erased from existence for good.

The POD will assist Civil Protection in their efforts to combat the insurgents with supplies and tools as necessary.

The train to the front leaves in a matter of days.

COSTLY VICTORY ENDING

The Insurgents met a terrible end at the hands of the attacking Combine forces.

Not only did Combine forces succeed in holding their line, they destroyed the enemies as well.

While victory may have come today, the long term effects of the battle are yet to be realized.

Those who fought are bound to suffer a life-long series of physical damage and PTSD.

The Insurgent military collapses within the coming weeks.

The only thing left standing is the high command that remains in hiding.

But that's a story for another time.
