Bug Full inventory = disappearing items

As the title says whenever your main Inv and your bags are full, any item you pick up will not show up on your inventory at all, not inside a bag, not inside a suitcase, it simply disappears.
And worse, if you reconnect and then join back the item will finally appear but it will delete the item you had in that square thus replacing it.
This is how I lost my machete to a Breen can.

Often my items just randomly disappear even when my inventory is not full. One time I've had an item return, that had been missing for days to weeks. I've no clue what is triggering it or what is going on with my inventory- only that it's not as it should be.
I can however confirm as OP said, full inventory deletes your shit
