Past & Present
Gaz was born in Brazil to hardworking parents who instilled in him the value of honesty and integrity. However, growing up in a rough neighbourhood, Gaz soon found himself drawn to the wrong crowd. He became involved with a powerful cartel, smuggling and dealing weapons. After years of working with the cartel, Gaz's life changed dramatically when the Combine, an alien race, invaded and occupied the earth. Governments fell, and chaos reigned. Gaz, who had always been a survivor, was caught up in the conflict between the Combine and the human resistance.Gaz quickly realised that his skill as a sharpshooter could be used for a greater purpose. So he left the cartel and joined the ranks of the Liberation Front Coalition, a resistance group fighting against the Combine. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a trusted and respected group member. However, Gaz's past caught up with him in a brutal way. Furious that he had left them, the cartel tracked down and killed his parents in retaliation. This event caused Gaz to have a mental breakdown, and he became a violent and impulsive character.
Despite the loss of his parents, Gaz remained committed to the cause.
He used his strategic thinking and quick reflexes to help the Front plans and execute attacks against the Combine. He fought alongside his fellow members, determined to make a difference. However, as the conflict dragged on, the Coalition began to crumble. Many of the members were killed or captured, and morale was low. Gaz became increasingly isolated, feeling like he had lost everything that mattered to him.
Ultimately, Gaz found some of his former Front members and formed a new group. They were small but determined, and Gaz felt a glimmer of hope for the first time in a long time.
The new group worked tirelessly to gather information, plan attacks, and inspire others to join their cause. Gaz was a leader once again, and his skills as a mercenary and gunman proved invaluable to their efforts.
Despite seemingly insurmountable odds, Gaz's group made significant progress against the Combine.
