Geo-Prospecting Bureau Operations in Vietnam

Thạch Khê Iron Mine (GPD.Z-65)
Mapping

The Thạch Khê Iron Mine, officially known as GPD.Z-65, is a major Combine iron mine within Vietnam. The Geo-Prospecting Bureau, also named the Geo-Prospecting Division in other regions, is currently operating the Thạch Khê Iron Mine for its world-class iron reserves. The Thạch Khê Iron Mine primarily supplies City Eight and City Twenty Eight, along with other cities on a lower priority, with vast amounts of raw iron. Mine-work is mainly done by synthetic workers with a small basing of workers from City Eight that do most of the technical maintenance. Security is tight as always with automated turrets, scanners, and likewise. The Thạch Khê Supply and Distribution Center (TK-SDC) is located at Biển Thạch Hải and acts as the mine’s sole main port, where all major imports and exports occur.

Tây Nguyên Bauxite Mine (GPD.Z-70)
Mapping

The Tây Nguyên Bauxite Mine, recorded as GPD.Z-70 on paper, is a massive Bauxite mine operated by the Geo-Prospecting Bureau. Vietnam is known to have the third-largest reserves of bauxite ore and the majority of it is located in the Tây Nguyên Bauxite Mine. The fair share of bauxite ore, a key component to the production of aluminum, is sent out to City Twenty Eight with City Eight shortly following behind. Security is very high due to the large presence of laborers operating in the mine pits. A shortage of synthetic workers and a sharp increase in bauxite demand in recent years has caused the need to import such laborers. Most of these miners live alongside the farmer-workers in the Mekong housing area in the supply center. The Mekong Supply and Distribution Center (M-SDC), located in the Mekong Delta Agri-Zone, acts as the primary port for the export of bauxite ore for the mine, with a train connection linking the Tây Nguyên Bauxite Mine to M-SDC known as RAIL-V-Two (Rail-Vietnam-Two).

Cửu Long - Nam Con Son Basin Oil-Shores (GPD.Z-120)
Mapping

The Cửu Long - Nam Con Son Basin, GPD.Z-120, is a Geo-Prospecting Bureau-operated zone down in Southern Vietnam, where oil-drilling occurs. Vietnam is the third-largest holder of oil reserves in Asia with much of the black gold located in the Cửu Long Basin and Nam Con Son Basin. Both operations in the two basins have merged into one operating zone with the Cửu Long Basin formerly known as GPD.Z-91 before the merger. The Cửu Long - Nam Con Son Basin uses a long stretch of pipelines to connect its massive amounts of oil platforms together and to also transport the oil to cities in Asia. The Cửu Long - Nam Con Son Basin Pipe Network (CL-NCS-PN) is the name of the pipe network that connects the oil platforms together. From there, the Vietnam-to-City Eight Pipeline (V-t-C8) delivers vast quantities of oil to City Eight, and the Vietnam-to-City Twenty Eight Pipeline (V-t-C28) needs no explanation on its purpose.
