Do keep in mind that OTA have nothing to lose if they die in a counter-attack other than losing the battle. They don't lose their characters, ranks like CPs do or whatever. At most they can lose their pride or something, idk.

As of now OTA have the best guns and armor, which is good and it should stay that way. A speed debuff won't make them useless or weaker than rebels. It only invites the usage of some semblance tactics on both sides.

Unrelated to this suggestion, but I think deployment rules are retarded. At least they should be proportional to the amount of attacking rebels.
Deployment and certain PK conditions need to be re-done.

Also get rid of the QRF, it serves next to no function.

You do not want the faction responsible for 'resetting the status quo' and restoring server balance to be even more gimped than they already are for balance given that they're limited to 6 men and the bulk of your active playerbase are rebels.

The speed debuff may not seem like much, but every hex matters in TBC.

Every gunfight turns into S2K by default once it hits 8 participants, which will be every fight with OTA unless they’re somehow going 6v1

it doesn't matter how few of you there are, there is ONE set of conditions by which you can be PK'd, just the one, you can throw yourself into combat most of the time and not really have much concern of a PK.

The weight is equally distributed throughout your body. there are plenty of videos of people in full knight armor running at a sprint. Though they shouldn't by any means be faster than someone who isn't in armored, I still don't see a point in adding this. TBC locks you in a place during combat before your turn takes place and I'm honestly not sure how useful it'll be when it comes down to combat.

also, like most platforms that use a form of TBC, its common knowledge that the side with the most people typically win (assuming they are fight functional.)

Should apply to CP's not OTA

Which is exactly what was suggested. OTA are the only ones who are immune from its effect. The reasons of which I have already covered.

Given that rebel armor now can nearly equal OTA armors in integrity, as well as the fact rebels have access to competing weapons (all around speaking, pulse weapons are terrible at range) It makes sense that Transhuman soldiers would not be stricken down by the bulky armor they wear. Especially given that the armor is partially tethered to them more than normal.
OTA are meant to be heavy ass tanks, big guns etc. Idk why their gear should hardly affect them

OTA shouldn’t be turtles but also they shouldn’t run faster than a naked male_07 on speed like they always have

Denied.

We feel as if this is an unnecessary addition that would mostly serve to inconvenience those who wear armor. We gotta have the right mix of fun and realism.
