We can assume the reason citizens wear jumpsuits in the Half Life universe is likely for the purpose of providing quick and easily identifiable information for enforcement teams to examine. Evidenced by the white bars on both the suits front and back.

So, It would be a very cool feature to have jumpsuits give those wearing them a permanently applied F3 status for everyone for as long as it remains equipped within the clothing slot.

1. This provides an actual purpose to wearing them during unrest. Given that, currently, having all citizens wear the exact same clothing actually just makes them harder to pick out amidst crowds.
2. Gives Jumpsuits an actual functionality, ensuring they have a presence on the server aside from being a bottom-tier clothing item you buy your way out of. Gives them a unique charm and purpose.

This is a really good take, but how would affect the fact that most CP interactions begin with 'Apply'? Wouldn't it make that entire aspect of RP moot?

Not everyone wears jumpsuits. Delegation of jumpsuits should be restricted for the lower rungs of society.

To note on this, I think players below Tier 3 should be permitted to wear their jumpsuit. Fuck the feeling of freedom, make me live hardcore hl2rp where my rebel has to wear his name on his chest

Yeah, it such cases. It makes obviously sense to give the Collaborators more freedom than their counterpart. The Supporting Class.

Yessss!!!! Willards grows more old-school and hardcore with each passing moment. Every jumpsuit should display a Citizen's CID number, mwahahahahahahah! Now cops won't have to constantly ask me to apply, now they can just look my shit up! YES!

I like this, but I believe that it shouldn't be a name but their CID, I think it fits the themes of HL2 better as well doesn't allow for major meta game from people. I think it would also be cool if said shirts would have a fixed CID so you could put on some else's shirt and their CID was displayed. It would make the apply part of it make more sense as then you now need to match your name with said CID if you're wearing a different shirt then your personal CID given shirt.

love the idea, but as mentioned, i think it just saying the CID of the person instead of their full name would be better. Allows for CPs to still know who you are, but still allows for people to hide there names from other civs as well.

This 100%.

Accepted

Keep in mind we cannot "personalise" the jumpsuit, so if you wear someone elses jumpsuit it wont show their CID etc
