Cario: I'm scared for the future, of course I am. Yet, you've shown me other ways of existing. You don't grovel to the Union, nor do you resist it. You're wise, you're compassionate, and somehow, you're with an idiot like me. Now, I've got a reason to wake up and get to work on time. A reason to reach their quotas. I'll never forget about the Union's threats, the fear, or the anger I feel, but I can get my act together and join them in whatever future lay ahead - so long as you're there by my side.

HELIX-2: My brother. I've taken bullets for him, he's taken bullets for me, and we've become blood brothers from the amount of blood transfusions we've given one another. While this world falls in flames, we'll stand together and face it down, and it won't know what hit it.

HELIX-8: Calm, collected, calculating, and more important than all of that, a heart of gold. Many in her position have lost their nerve, or went down in a hail of bullets and necrotic claws, but yet she stands. Safe to say, she's arguably the most important person in HELIX Squad. She's the one that has to make it, out of all the rest of us. The City, and the world itself, would benefit from it.

HELIX-6: Evidently, something happened to me. Or, did it? Nothing seems amiss, and I don't really know what to feel when I'm told of the past. All that hurts the most is his face when he's telling me. How do I expect him to pick up all the pieces when I can't even see one? All I can really do is let him focus on something else, and hope to god he doesn't do anything rash.

Serena Wilson: Ah yes, the good doctor. She's still a dreamer, and clearly she's far more willful and braver than myself. If all else fails, I know I can approach her and confide in whatever I need to, and that she'll assist in however way possible. She's climbing that ladder, and doesn't have anytime for those not even bothering to look up. Stay safe, doc.

HELIX-3: From the start, she was always kind to me. I had figured her for the quiet type compared to the rest of these jokers, but she's clearly fairly intelligent. Anytime I get to talk with her after a shift in the cafeteria, I always feel a lot better, at least for a while. Please, stay alive.

HELIX-4: Our second in command, and a fitting one after 0's new workload. He keeps his head on straight, and rarely jokes around when it comes down to it - but that's not to say he's a stickler, far from it. He's a good man, and I feel safe and capable under his leadership.

HELIX-0: At first, he terrified me to death. Now, he merely frightens me, but my respect outweighs that portion. My first shift was probably about to be my last, but he clearly saw something in me when he offered me this spot, and now I owe it to him to try and stick it out and make him proud.

VICTOR-6:
Told myself not to get close to people here, but didn't even manage to follow my own advice. I knew I could come and talk to her, confide in her all the difficulties I was facing, and that I would be safe doing so. Seeing her killed like that... I just wish I could move on from it.

JURY-5: He remains one of the best senior officers I've seen, and now that we almost bled to death just inches from one another, we've more or less become entwined as brothers. With everything falling apart around here, I'm glad we're watching each other's back.

VICTOR-0: After the whole breakdown of his squad, he's demonstrated a clear and concise desire to ensure the men under his command are safe and squared away. I've already fought alongside him a few times, and he's one of the best Zero's I've had the pleasure of witnessing.

The Slaves: They claim my journey has started, but I feel more lost than ever. I used to fear them, even hate them, but now I find myself looking up to them.

VICTOR-4: Well, shit. Wasn't expecting anything to happen from the investigation on him. There's no sense in dwelling on it - not after what the rest did. Sorry he got wrapped up in it.

Elisa Heydrich: She works with Serena, and I can tell why the two are close friends. She shares Serena's kindness, as well as her passion involving the other Citizens in the city. She's been good to me in the past, and I just hope she can make her way through this life without any issue.

Alisha Parker: I can barely understand a word she says half the time, but she's down to earth, and I can joke around with her without fear of getting reported. I hope.

Aisha Amani: She probably would've been a model if the invasion never happened. Thankfully these masks hide your eyes. Anyway, more importantly - she struck me as a typical loyalist, but there's clearly some calculation behind her eyes and actions.

Andre Jackson: A decent guy who was given a pretty shit hand - and no doubt fucked his turn once or twice. Regardless, I think he means well, he's just been pushed into the dirt too many times to count. He reminds me of myself.

The Citizens: Most of them are a lot like me. Just doing whatever they can to get by, so I don't really feel the need to treat them like shit like most of the others around here do.

Civil Workers: The ones I've met are all hard workers, and though some of them are pretty fanatical about the Union, the vast majority of them just perform whatever job they have to do expertly and professionally. Everyone has their job to do.

Civil Authority: Haven't interacted with them too much. I get the impression they wouldn't appreciate a decent joke like the working class would.

The Resistance: Yeah, what a cause to rally behind. I find it hopeless, especially considering the odds they're up against, and even more so when all they seem to do around here is kill Citizens and destroy infrastructure the City needs. If there's someone who's going to save us from this existence - it's not them.

The Universal Union: It's getting harder and harder to pretend I'm on the right side. I joined up with Civil Protection just to get a decent meal, and I'm fighting for my life in something that I'm clearly not cut out for. It's only out of the fear I feel, and the loyalty I have to HELIX Squad that I haven't fucked up loud enough for them to notice me yet, but I know it's only a matter of time before they do.
