I know this may seem like a stupid suggestion, but hear me out. Since high quality filters are relatively valuable due to the fact they last way longer and protect you way more, could they perhaps be able to be crafted for high crafting levels? Maybe 40-50 range? Because that would give an additional bonus for those who level crafting a lot.

Then again this is just for convenience sake and I'm fine with it being rejected, I just think it would be neat to allow them to be crafted under a more expensive recipe but with the superior spore protection and longevity. Keeping it non-refillable would also be pretty balanced.

If not making high qual's craftable, then maybe there could be somewhat of an intemediary between makeshift filters and high quality filters, like some sorta makeshift high quality filter which protects less than the high qual but more than the makeshift and also doesn't decay and can't be refilled?

Let's be real, they really don't need any more bonuses. It's already the most powerful skill by a mile.

Aside from that, my only worry with better filters, especially in the current reported economy, is that it will supercharge rebel circlejerk capacity.

There is a reason they weren't made craftable, as they do extend the time you can circlejerk in the sewers by quite a lot compared to makeshift filters. As in, going from 70% quality to 90% quality means you go down from taking 30% spores to only 10% spores. That allows you to stay thrice as long!

Reaching the 60 gas point mark (one full bar) would take you over 10 hours of playtime compared to only 1 hour. Essentially you'd just have to make sure you log off outside of the sewers every now and then and poof, you can quasi-permanently stay in the sewers. Exactly the thing we do not want to happen.
