A Japanese Clan, hailing from the countrysides of Japan in Hokkaido, with great religious and moral conviction to both the Kami, Shinto and their most traditionalist view of service, their service to the clan.

CLAN
The Hoshi Operate traditionally as a Japanese Clan or family of Yakuza before the war and invasion of alien beings to us, men or women make take to becoming employees under them, associates, but as per tradition, only those of Asian roots may progress in rank, foreigners may only go as far as made-members, or little brothers, beyond that, all are made to be introductory rank when brought in via ceremonial ritual.
Those introduced into the gang separate them self from the business and company itself, often to take roles as enforcers of the illegal side of their dealings, muscling in on loans and repossessions, to small time deals of illegal goods and smuggling, as per honor-bound rules against such things as narcotics and strict dis-usage of firearms as they favor that of most glorious melee combat, fair to each party.
The Clan Life is a one of simplicity, day to day, hustling, fighting, and evading the law. Whilst seemingly lesser in benefits, it comes at the perk of holding authority over other goons as you are allowed to ascend ranks, and run portions of the official company, raking in your own earn and even coming at the possibility of your own vassalized family under the clan.
The Hoshi themself reign from Hokkaido Hills pre-war, reigning in their domains of country and land since the Sengoku Jidai gave prospect to opportunistic Hoshi ancestors, and have since been renowned as a clan of warriors, who fell unto lowly ways of yakuza.
They mainly operate as a gang in the urban sectors of Japan, but are now intent on establishing reign over foreign districts in their own cut-off foreign, established streets in town, with the idea of Japantown's in mind.

COMPANY
The Clan's income. The company operates as the front for the underbelly of the foreign-imported criminal organization, under vassal groups and subsidiary companies and storefronts, or even parent companies. Anyone can be employed in the Company of Hoshi Clan and such is oft the first step into the Yakuza.
To undertake such a thing promises only the most menial employed life, likely being ordered around at many a different position to fill the space of your time.
Harshly comparing to the danger of being branded by the Ink.
The Ultimate Goal for the Clan and Company is unified,
Establish a Japantown for their people to thrive.

The Daimyo, Lord over the Clan, rightful heir to all that falls under the Hoshi name, only one man is Patriarch, only one is Lord, and only another can be his heir-apparent. Patriarch is a formal title, translating to that of Lord, or Daimyo as said for traditional ranking.

More often than not, the heir, this captain, a retainer and likely vassal of his current Hoshi Daimyo, a loyal yet Yakuza, and mayhaps one day recognized under the eyes of the Emperor, Samurai, he controls in stead of the Oyabun, almost commanding the same respect, and all if it, if a Oyabun is not present.

The two Lieutenants of a Clan, often found operating small retinues, their own families, separating them from Wakagashira, who runs a vassal clan, while a Captain may be entrusted with a region of territory, they are entrusted with it's specific streets. They command respect of their men, but, not much beyond that, glorified leaders of another man's army.

ICly, it's as simple as approaching my character, Asa, and seeking employment, though you will go through periods of time without promotion as per wishing to see your character develop under the clan as I find new ways to employ you and occupy your time with hopefully fun RP.
OOCly, reply under this threat or forum conversation with me your character, the idea of said character, and desired role, and we can see about setting up immediately.
Men who aren't Japanese cannot go past Shateigashira rank, men who aren't Asian can't go past Kyodai rank.
Hoping to have this up and running back to speed by the time of the end of the week when I return from my ban (sad).
Still highly intent and overjoyed to bring RP to some fine folks!
