1. Play CCR CP OTA CMU CWU and/or other Pro-combine factions for an extended period of time.
2. Treat people how you'd want to be treated.
3. Put yourself in the shoes of others.
4. Don't get baited.
5. Try to make situations with Civil Protection & Loyalist Factions fun.
6. Don't ever think about being "Combine biased", only people who don't play Combine say that.
7. Use common sense.

-Jokes aside-

Empathy?

It may come as a shock to those on the rebel side of things but often the Combine Discord after a large engagement looks a-lot like the rebel one... it doesn't matter how things went about or concluded no matter which side you play *SOMEONE* Will feel slighted or like they got the raw deal... for most of us its just human nature to try and "Win" while this isn't what the game or game mode is about it's an understandable thing and as part of human nature its hard to isolate yourself from it for many people.

Just realize the Rebellion and the Combine are Ying to each others Yang. Rebels without you the combine side becomes very very very boring. Without the Combine to serve as antagonists things become very very very boring and stagnant for Rebels (Best case a civil war breaks out and pks galore) Realize you each have a unique role to play.

History: Historically speaking Insurgencies incur a much larger death toll than the occupation forces they're fighting as a Rebel this is something you need to accept for every win or victory you attain no matter big or small the combine will always appear to be winning majority of the time this is just the nature of the beast you find yourself in the combine are.

-Better organized and trained.
-Better supplied and coordinated.
-Have a rigid rank structure (A pro and a con)

You're going to slowly lose friends you make as they fall around you..

YOUR GOAL: A model insurgency looks alot like the mujahedeen or the American revolutionaries in reality slowly you chip away day by day over a long period of time slowly bleeding your enemy until there's nothing left and they're too weak that is when things like - C17 Uprising - Happen look at the cycle of events. For nearly 20 years the rebellion was curb stomped repeatedly by the superior combine forces as majority of the pre-war military forces either sided with the combine for survival or went into hiding or were rejected by the individualist nature of western rebellion forces. As such you're probably either a completely in-experienced fighter or you have a little bit of an idea how to operate. The point is the path of the Rebel is that of a masochistic one whether you like it or not.

It's the suffering you experience at the hands of combine players that makes the cake that you enjoy at the end (An Uprising or a successful January 15th) taste so much sweeter.

Embrace the Suck: One day you will have the upper Hand and it will be you as the hand of judge jury and executioner as we've seen in various events (Terranova, Industrial 17, Red skies, The Japan event *I think* and many more. The idea of being a rebel is its a slow burn a slow slow burn but the pay off in the end after a life of suffering is sweet when you gather a group of friends and citizens and finally manage to see the stars align and your hard work pay off (Uprising, The destruction of C24)

(I will likely add more if anything comes to me but here you go for now hopefully this helps *Some* of you atleast.)
