Putting this in discussion so I can see if anyone else feels the same way.
I'll get right to the chase. I don't like the Disco Elysium and Barotrauma music in Willard. It doesn't do anything for me, and in fact, it genuinely brings me out of the experience.
Ignoring my personal feelings about their particular style not fitting whatsoever with Willard's tone (mostly this applies to Barotrauma tracks, since, y'know, they're meant to fit the aquatic depths of Europa, not a proper above-ground city), why would I, a person who wants to play HL2RP, have to be constantly reminded of two completely separate games instead of the actual source material? It's one thing to take inspiration from something, but the sheer amount of these tracks goes over into the "copy and paste what I think is cool" territory.
Honestly, it wouldn't even be that much of an issue if it wasn't for the sheer amount of these tracks playing. I swear, there are like four Disco Elysium tracks lined up in a row at any given time. It's even worse when you realise the old ambient tracks are STILL in the server, just buried under constant DE trumpets and Barotrauma synths.
So yeah, please just remove all of these and stick to the obscure ambient tracks. That's my two cents.
