  1. Bug: Ingredients & Food inaccessible under Restaurant permit.

  1. Description: You cannot acquire the permit "Restaurant" permit and access its contents presumably because there's not a proper link between the "Ingredient" permit on the PDA device's permit menu and the "Restaurant" permit on the bartering menu.

  1. Errors/time: N/A

  1. Images/recording (optional):
Note how the permit in the bartering menu is named "Restaurant" while the permit in the PDA device is named "Ingredients;" furthermore, it lists me as already having two permits despite the Restaurant permit being inaccessible, which leads me to believe that the game is giving me the obsolete ingredient permit (which no longer exists outside of the PDA menu) that has no actual connection to the current restaurant permit. That's just my speculation.

We're supposed to give permits through the housing menu, which you own a shop through. So that if you stop owning a shop, you lose the permits.

However, even doing it the old fashion way and giving the person directly the permits, it still doesn't work.

This seems to be an issue with the shop-assigned permits, though for some reason, regular permits don't seem to work on that specific character either.

You might need to test this on a different character. I had the same issue with mine on C8. I didn't get it fixed though so idk

Hi,

You would need to create a new character.

Unfortunately we did not wipe PDA data, meaning anyone with old permits are broken or once had permits which no longer exist are unplayable when it comes to getting permits. If we wiped permits, EVERYONES DATA would have to be wiped and at that point may of forced the whole server to make brand new characters and then request refunds for each char made.

This is just the nature of Databases and how saving all this information is.

The Restaurant permit works on the PDA and works fine overall (Can test on dev to see for yourself) just if you got an old char on main, it WILL NOT work.

This is a new character. Just to clarify, I've tested and replicated this issue with numerous people and it seems to be exclusively a bug with assigning permits via shops.

@boots can confirm.

Well that makes no sense reeeeeee

You are going to need a video to show because none of this makes sense. Works for me

In the above, that's an image of the regular permits.

Below are the store-assigned permits (accessed via the active shop menu.)

Basically, the store-assigned permits given through the shop/employee menu is broken and does not give you the Restaurant permit, presumably because it's listed as ingredients instead. Regular, individually-assigned permits work as intended; shop-assigned permits do not, tragically.

Will post a video when I can.

Bumping this.

The Shop Terminal System has the new permits registered, however, the change was snot made via the PDA. Therefore we have old permits that don't exist..

Below is a screenshot of the baltic unit. The owner selected Resturant, however it does not exist in the picture below

Fix this, please!!!!

Update to this, the old shop needs to be removed entirely, then a new one needs to be made. Seems to fix the issue on the baltic

I will do some final checks before closing this

Tested and seems to be working. Reopen if failing again.
