How do you intend to play the character during the event?: I plan to play an eccentric, overzealous resistance fighter who has allowed the conflict to overwhelm his mind and personality. A previous lowlife in City 17 who was prosecuted and relocated for selling junk out of a traincar, he's continued to grow his network of connections and now serves as a squad leader for the local resistance cell. To prove his worth and dedication to the cause, he managed to take down a Union outpost along with a fellow squad leader and group of loyal fighters, and is willing to wipe out the opposition should they attempt to take it back.

BRIEF BACKSTORY:
Born in 1950 Yermak Volkov was born in Novosibirsk and was raised by his mother and father. The Volkov family inherits a trait that gives them a love of engineering and tinkering which results in the entire family specialising in different areas of engineering. Yermak mostly specialised in Vehicle repair like his father however over a few years Yermak moved towards being skilled at weaponry maintenance and Artillery Repair. His father who felt proud of his child sent Yermak off to work in the military at age 23 where he completed his courses and was put on the Frontlines as a trench Quartermaster. Luckily due to his creativity in making weapons, Yermak survived his time on the frontlines and continued to serve the Russian Army and complete his 21-year serving until he was 44 and he had completed his serving in the military. Not much is known about what he did during his time during The 7 Hour War however records indicate that Yermak had joined up with Anti-Civil groups in City 3 back in the year 2014 and has been off-record ever since.

HOW DO YOU INTEND TO PLAY YOUR CHARACTER DURING THE EVENT?:​

ENGINEERING GENIUS: Yermak grew up creating and repairing items so he has many creative ideas on plans to fight back.

ALCOHOLIC: Yermak loves his drinks and won't hesitate to drink one if offered to him.

STENOGRAPHER: Yermak is a person who always writes down any thoughts he has...however he does tend to lose them so if you find one of his notes be sure to let him know.

SAFETY OFF: Yermak has spent his time serving in the Army so he knows his way around a gun...as well as taking orders...

LIFE OF THE FORT: Yermak Is a man who lives to talk to people and can start a conversation on the most random of things. He always appears friendly to people and loves talking about drinks.

How do you intend to play the character during the event?: Charles is a sophisticated, eccentric yet charismatic businessman of a bygone era. Having hailed from the executive leadership of a vast family conglomerate with enterprises in the extraction and processing of natural resources, he certainly knows what it takes to lead an efficient & lean offensive against insurmountable odds. The renaissance cascade marked the fall from his grace - finding himself unexpectedly catapulted to the bottom ranks of society and whisked away from a life of opulence to the dustbin that is City 17. He vilifies the hastily appointed puppets of the countless metropolitan centers around the globe and perceives their claim to power as illegitimate. Charles has since leveraged many of his prewar business connections and his exploitative and expansive business expertise to launch a scrapping and crafting business out of the bowels of City 17. In a calculated move to seize control over a strategic outpost and vital supply-lines located on the fringes of City 24, he led his most competent fighters to battle alongside an adjacent resistance cell to successfully overwhelm the outpost under the crescent of night.

In alignment with his character traits, Charles Bogsworth will be portrayed as an eccentric, calculated and cunning figurehead of a strikingly efficient fighting force in hopes of overwhelming a significantly more well-equipped and technologically-advanced opponent. Charles and his men will respond to any attempts to reclaim the outpost with fierce opposition and will not submit to failure at any costs.

What role are you signing up for?: Rebel Leader (fighter if unavailable)



How do you intend to play the character during the event?:
Bernard "The Gunner" has earned his nickname for being a machine gunner in a rifle platoon a few years after the Seven Hour War, in a rebellion called the "Eastern Rebellion", during which he has neutralized multiple soldiers from the enemy forces and managed to earn himself a few scars along the way.
The rebellion has not ended without loss, Bernard ended up losing many of his squad-men and has been bitter since then.

Bernard would be in his early fifties during act one of the event.

I intend to play the character as an aging, bitter, grey haired man that is proficient in the art of war, very strategic and cunning and conscious of his situation, every decision will be very thoughtful and carefully processed, few to none mistakes will be had on his watch with the resistance members he commands very aware of this.
Bernard will be very strict with his fighters, scolding anyone who steps out of line at the wrong time, his strict personality derives from the many losses and grievances he experienced throughout the years, he will be hesitant to share about his past life but will be able to tell more about himself if asked correctly.
The character will have a religious side as well, A true Christian to the end the bitter end, he will occasionally say prayers and instill hope in others through religious quotes, promising god is watching over.

How do you intend to play the character during the event?: I envision Maxim as being generally “unremarkable”, having certainly contributed enough to the cause to cement himself as a permanent member, but not having made any particular name for himself outside of these limited achievements. Mikhailov’s temperament is what one could describe as cold, yet caring, at least for those close to him or within their cell, noted as a more charismatic character among their ranks, resolving most petty and unnecessary debates fluently and quickly.

Brief summary of your Civil Protection character: Nicholas Lombarda's beginnings within City 24 seen him rapidly rise to success due to his undying loyalty to the Union's ideals (and the way they serve him, frankly) coupled with his overzealous and cocky nature. As a mere citizen he was responsible for saving several functionaries' lives and deposing of numerous anti-civil and fringe elements, working tirelessly as a collaborator. His services to the Union did not stop there however, as he also penned numerous propaganda posters for the sake of the Bureau of Enlightenment which were then plastered about the city.

In a relatively short amount of time following his actions, Lombarda was granted an audience with the triumvirate of Overseers responsible for City 24 and inducted into Civil Protection while his civilian alterego continues to work at the BOE unbeknownst to any. As a unit he's prevailed, right at home when it comes to booting down doors and taking care of business. He's too eager for his own good and is prone to acting a little loose and lippy, but for the most part the Union and his RL back him up provided he doesn't cross the boundaries completely and gets results, something he's vastly appreciative of.
